stated \u200dUrias, who was appointed by President Joe Biden, referring to the plaintiffs \u200bwho sought a temporary\u200b restraining order against parts of Lujan Grisham&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-blocks-new-mexico-governors-gun-ban\/\" title=\"Judge halts New Mexico Governor's gun ban.\">emergency\u200b public health order issued<\/a> \u2062on September \u20648.<\/p>\n<p>The Democratic governor \u2062implemented the suspension of firearm carry laws to \u2063establish a &#8220;cooling-off period&#8221; for \u2064authorities\u2064 to \u2062address \u2062the \u200cstate&#8217;s high rates of gun crime, following the tragic\u200d deaths of\u200d several children in recent weeks.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the past \u2062four\u200c days, I&#8217;ve witnessed more attention being given to\u200c resolving the crisis of gun violence than I have in\u200d the \u2064past four years,&#8221; expressed\u200c Lujan Grisham in a statement following \u200cUrias&#8217;s ruling.<\/p>\n<p>While\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/house-dems-pass-gun-control-bills-that-would-dramatically-increase-wait-times\/\" title=\"House Dems Pass Gun-Control Bills That Would Dramatically Increase Wait Times\">gun-rights advocates<\/a> were outraged by her order, fellow Democrats and law enforcement officials criticized \u2063it as unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Governor Grisham&#8217;s tyranny is temporarily in check today,&#8221;\u200b declared Dudley Brown, president of a Colorado\u200c gun group that sued the governor.<\/p>\n<p>Gun control campaigners\u200b commended Lujan Grisham&#8217;s\u2064 &#8220;courage,&#8221;
