The \u2064video,\u200b which was \u2062removed Wednesday, shared how <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/06\/msnbc-gushes-over-trans-identifying-man-accused-of-sexually-harassing-sorority-girls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MSNBC<\/a> praised Artemis Langford, the first transgender-identifying man \u200cto join\u200c a sorority,\u200b who has been accused by \u2063six of his sorority sisters of sexual\u2064 harassment.\u2062 According to TikTok, my video violated \u201cCommunity Guidelines\u201d because it constituted\u200b \u201cHarassment and Bullying.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2064 welcome \u200bthe respectful expression of different viewpoints but not toxicity or\u2064 trolling,\u201d TikTok wrote. \u201cWe do not allow language\u2063 or behavior that harasses, humiliates, threatens, or doxxes \u2064anyone. This\u200b also includes \u2062responding to such \u2062acts with retaliatory harassment\u200b (but excludes non-harassing counter speech).\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-898762736\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-08f7eff0d4c47b5b0c9e98511a7b183f fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-08f7eff0d4c47b5b0c9e98511a7b183f\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><\/figure>\n<p>My video, however, does not dox or harass Langford. It factually reports on the allegations made by the six\u200c sorority sisters \u2063in a public lawsuit. font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; line-height:17px; text-decoration:none;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A post shared by The Federalist (@fdrlst)<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>    <\/p>\n<p>I\u2062 was clearly not harassing or threatening Langford, \u200bso perhaps TikTok\u200b removed my video because it was \u201ctoxic.\u201d But of course, TikTok\u2063 does not define what that \u200cmeans\u200d and, like most \u200dplatforms, makes no transparent effort to \u2064justify \u2063its censorship calls. <\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s really toxic is a Big Tech company protecting\u2064 an accused sexual harasser and going to bat for\u2064 a corporate\u2064 media company \u200cfor celebrating\u200d him.\u200c In removing content that accurately \u200dreports on the sorority sisters\u2019 accusations, TikTok \u2063is\u2063 actively silencing the stories of\u200d alleged \u2062victims of\u2063 sexual harassment.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It\u2019s Not Just \u2062TikTok <\/h2>\n<p>TikTok is not uniquely bad, either. The removal of \u200bmy TikTok \u200bvideo is the\u2063 second bout of\u200b censorship I\u2019ve experienced in a little over \u200da week, with the first happening on Instagram. Last Tuesday, Instagram \u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/30\/instagram-slaps-false-label-on-the-federalists-accurate-reporting-about-meat-banning-goals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">slapped<\/a> \u2063a \u201cfalse\u201d label and \u201cfact-check\u201d \u2062on a \u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/CwQcZ9PRUqj\/?igshid=MTc4MmM1YmI2Ng%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reel<\/a> I made exposing \u200cthe 14\u200b American cities that have \u2063a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/19\/these-14-american-cities-have-a-target-of-banning-meat-dairy-and-private-vehicles-by-2030\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">target<\/a>\u201d \u200cof banning meat, dairy, \u2064and private vehicle \u200cownership by the year 2030.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-bf1dc48a8d6e84df428a5b47a06d2135 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-bf1dc48a8d6e84df428a5b47a06d2135\"><\/div>\n<p>The reality is that all major <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ga-poll-watcher-it-expert-non-trump-supporter-affidavit-sudden-surge-of-20000-mail-in-votes-for-biden-in-early-hours-on-nov\/\" title=\"GA Poll Watcher, IT Expert, Non-Trump Supporter Affidavit: Sudden Surge of 20,000 Mail-In-Votes For Biden In Early Hours On Nov\">social media companies<\/a>\u2062 engage in censorship, and they are all in <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/01\/10\/big-tech-oligarchs-collude-to-ban-parler-from-internet-and-phones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">coordination<\/a> with one \u2063another \u2062and\u200b globalist organizations, like the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/13\/who-bragged-about-helping-big-tech-control-what-you-see-about-covid-and-its-still-happening\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">United Nations<\/a>. The difference between Chinese-owned TikTok and American-owned platforms like Instagram and YouTube is that the American\u2062 companies work more directly alongside the Biden administration and various U.S. federal \u200dagencies, which \u200bthen act <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/02\/worried-about-tiktok-meet-americas-horribly-corrupt-social-media-platforms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">just as much as an enemy<\/a> of the American people as the Chinese Communist Party. <\/p>\n<p><em><em>Missouri<\/em> v.\u2064 Biden<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/07\/12-times-the-biden-white-house-colluded-with-big-tech-to-throttle-free-speech-according-to-missouri-v-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> that \u2014 no joke \u200d\u2014 \u2062the Biden administration had its own personal \u201cTwitter\u2019s Partner Support Portal\u201d in \u2064order to \u201cexpedite\u201d censorship directives\u200c from the White House. A judge found the Biden administration guilty of\u2064 criminally infringing on Americans\u2019 First \u200dAmendment \u200brights. Instead\u200d of firing the guilty parties responsible\u200d for the brazen censorship, however, the Biden administration\u2063 has \u2064filed an <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/18\/biden-administration-rushes-appeal-against-court-ruling-in-effort-to-keep-censorship-regime-intact\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">appeal<\/a> so \u2064it can\u2063 <em>continue<\/em> acting as if it is\u200b the Ministry of Truth. <\/p>\n<p>This unholy alliance between government entities and Big \u2062Tech giants is \u2062why social media companies will never fully be\u2062 held accountable for \u200dthe censorship \u200dthat I and \u200cso many others have experienced. TikTok\u200b and Instagram shouldn\u2019t be able to remove \u200bcontent they don\u2019t like while also\u200c enjoying the privileges afforded to them under Section\u2064 230\u200c of the\u2063 Communications Decency \u2062Act, which treats Big Tech companies as \u200bplatforms even\u2063 though \u200cthey clearly act like publishers. No one\u200d in \u200cthe\u2064 federal government is going to remove those \u2064privileges, though, because the government <em>benefits<\/em> from its crony partnership with the tech oligarchs, which allows \u200bit to silence ideological and political opponents.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We Can\u2019t Isolate Ourselves to the Outskirts of the Internet<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s worth noting \u200cI do\u2064 not have a\u2064 massive \u200bfollowing on Instagram or TikTok. On Instagram, I have fewer than 10,000 followers, and on TikTok, I have fewer than 600. Despite not having a major \u2063platform or verified accounts, I was targeted and \u2064punished by the tech giants,\u2064 demonstrating how wide-reaching \u200dand sophisticated the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/28\/meet-the-partisans-who-wove-the-censorship-complexs-vast-and-tangled-web\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Censorship Complex<\/a> has\u2062 become. Any \u200cvoice, \u2064big\u2064 or small, that undermines the authority, aims, \u200dor\u2062 values of either leftist orthodoxy \u200bor federal and \u2062global government entities can \u200bexpect to be silenced by the tech oligarchy. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-7b08ccadcde03797f3adfca85c57bcbe fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-7b08ccadcde03797f3adfca85c57bcbe\"><\/div>\n<p>When faced with this reality, many conservatives throw in the \u200btowel and quit the major \u2064platforms \u200caltogether. The problem\u200d is that Instagram is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/entertainment-arts-62238307\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">most popular<\/a> \u2062\u201cnews source\u201d for younger people, followed by TikTok and YouTube. Young people, particularly \u2064teens,\u2062 also spend exorbitant amounts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/internet\/2022\/08\/10\/teens-social-media-and-technology-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">time<\/a> \u2064on TikTok and Instagram, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tiktok-nuked-my-video-of-a-trans-person-accused-of-sexual-harassment-accusing-me-of-harassment-instead\/\" title=\"TikTok Deletes My Video: Trans Person Accused of Harassment, I'm Accused Instead\">digesting increasingly popular short-form video content<\/a>. To learn \u200babout\u2063 a topic, young \u2064people prefer to\u200d watch a one-minute TikTok\u2062 or \u200dreel rather\u200c than read a six-minute article.<\/p>\n<p>There is a need for a freedom-loving app like \u2062Rumble\u200b to create a short-form content competitor to Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. But until \u200bthat happens, free thinkers \u200ccannot abandon the major platforms\u2062 and\u200c thus the struggle to\u200d change the hearts and minds of\u2064 the future generations who \u2063will one\u200b day run America. <\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s \u2063in part because tech censorship\u2062 is just a prequel to total unpersoning, something we must\u200d fight, not aid. \u200cEntities like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2021\/01\/davos-agenda-digital-identity-frameworks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">World Economic Forum<\/a> and\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/unlimitedhangout.com\/2023\/06\/investigative-series\/sdg16-part-1-building-the-global-police-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">United Nations<\/a> are\u2064 pushing for digital IDs, \u200cand \u2062the Biden administration is <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/06\/what-will-america-be-like-under-bidens-digital-dollar-look-at-communist-china\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">trying<\/a> to implement a Central \u2064Bank Digital \u2063Currency.
