The \u200bPatriot Voice (TPV),\u2064 a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obama-era-ag-urges-democrats-to-pack-supreme-court-accuses-u-s-judicial-system-of-conservative-bias\/\" title=\"Obama-era AG urges Democrats to pack Supreme Court, accuses U.S. judicial system of \u2018conservative bias\u2019\">conservative group<\/a>, is taking Total Systems Services (TSYS) to court for allegedly canceling transaction services \u200dfor one of their events in Texas. And they&#8217;re not holding back &#8211; they&#8217;re\u200b seeking \u200ba whopping $18 \u2062million in \u2062damages!<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>According to a report by <a href=\"https:\/\/thetexan.news\/judicial\/payment-processing-company-sued-for-18-million-after-canceling-contract-with-right-wing-group\/article_25173df6-4e60-11ee-9821-67ac35efa66c.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Texan<\/a>, TPV had to \u2064cancel their 2023 event in Dallas after TSYS allegedly terminated their services. TPV claims that TSYS \u2064engaged in &#8220;viewpoint discrimination&#8221;\u2064 by abruptly\u2064 ending their\u2063 contract.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>TPV, headquartered in Southlake, Texas, \u200cis known for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/conservative-event-organizer-sues-payment-processor-for-canceling-services\/\" title=\"Conservative event organizer sues payment processor over service cancellation.\">hosting events featuring prominent conservative speakers<\/a> like James O\u2019Keefe, Gen. Michael Flynn, Sheriff David\u200c Clarke, and actor James Caviezel.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>Conservative\u200b Events Group Canceled<\/h2>\n<p>TPV is not taking this lightly. They are accusing TSYS of fraud, deception, and \u2063breach of contract. It\u2062 all started\u2062 when TPV scheduled their event for January 2023. After their previous service provider canceled their contract, TSYS agreed to step \u2062in and provide transactional services.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>However, TPV claims that TSYS rejected their\u2064 transactions the following month, citing reasons\u200c like the transactions being &#8220;too large&#8221;\u200b or\u2064 &#8220;outside our risk parameters.&#8221; TPV was then \u200dinformed that their organization \u2062was labeled \u200das an &#8220;exclusionary\u200d business&#8221; by TSYS&#8217;s risk department.<\/p>\n<p>John Sabal, \u2064the owner of TPV and\u2063 a Navy veteran, is not happy about this. He provided evidence\u200b of an \u2064email\u200d from\u200b TSYS stating that they assess the risk\u200b for accounts that no longer meet their criteria. But here&#8217;s the catch &#8211; TSYS never explained why TPV was considered an &#8220;exclusionary business&#8221; or why they no longer fit the criteria.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>Organizer\u2064 Cancels Event<\/h2>\n<p>With\u2064 their contract on hold and unable \u2063to process event transactions, TPV had no choice but to cancel the Dallas engagement. This\u200b decision cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars in\u200d incurred costs and an \u200destimated $1.5 \u2063million in\u2063 lost profits from that event alone, not \u200dto mention potential sponsorship \u2064losses.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>TPV is not backing down.\u2064 They argue that TSYS concealed crucial information\u200d about the \u200b&#8221;risk parameters&#8221; associated with their account, causing significant financial harm to their organization.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<h2>TPV Attorney Involved in Failed Defamation Suit<\/h2>\n<p>In an interesting twist, TPV&#8217;s\u2064 attorney was recently \u2062involved in a\u2064 defamation lawsuit against\u2062 Texas state\u2063 Rep. Jeff Leach.
