Tragically, one of\u200d the bullets struck young Thomas, who was seated in the back of \u2062his mother&#8217;s car. As the shots rang \u200dout, terrified bystanders scattered in\u2064 fear. Authorities later discovered 13 bullet holes\u2062 in the targeted \u2063car. Additional security footage from the\u2064 city\u2019s North Side, where\u200d the suspects abandoned the vehicle,\u200b showed Mr. Falconer exiting the driver&#8217;s seat.
