Eventually, the city\u2064 of Los Angeles responded to \u2064these requests \u2062but mistakenly included \u2062sensitive information about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nearly-700-undercover-officers-sue-city-lapd-for-releasing-their-identities\/\" title=\"Over 700 undercover officers sue city and LAPD for exposing their identities.\">active-duty undercover police officers<\/a> and officers with prior undercover assignments\u200c in their\u2063 disclosure.<\/p>\n<p>This data, which included officers&#8217;\u2064 names, photographs, email addresses, phone numbers, serial numbers, ethnicities, genders, \u200cranks, and more, was published on the &#8220;Watch the Watchers&#8221; website. This website is a\u200d searchable database\u2063 created\u2062 by the Stop LAPD Spying Coalition, a community organization advocating for the abolition of police surveillance in Los\u200d Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Police\u2064 Chief Michel Moore has previously \u200bstated that he was \u2063unaware \u2063of \u2062the release and\u200c later issued an apology, launching an internal investigation.
