(Photo\u200d by SAUL LOEB\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>OAN\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/tag\/brooke-mallory\">Brooke Mallory<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>3:50 PM \u2013 Wednesday, September 13, 2023<\/h3>\n<p>Attorneys for Hunter Biden have \u200bofficially filed a \u2064lawsuit against a former Trump White House aide \u2063for his alleged involvement in \u2064the online publication of \u2064several humiliating and inappropriate emails, videos, and pictures\u2063 purportedly belonging to the president\u2019s \u200dson.<\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1\" style=\"min-width: 320px; min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>Garrett Ziegler is being charged with inappropriately \u200c\u201caccessing, tampering with, \u2062manipulating, altering, copying, and\u200b damaging computer\u200c data that\u2064 they do not own\u201d in violation \u2064of the state\u2019s computer fraud \u200dstatutes in\u2062 the 13-page lawsuit, which was filed in \u200cfederal court in California.<\/p>\n<p>Ziegler, a former assistant to White House Trade \u2062Advisor Peter \u2062Navarro, has become one \u200dof the Biden family\u2019s \u2063most vocal \u200bcritics, frequently chastising\u2064 President Joe Biden and \u200chis controversial son online.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit goes into great detail about how Ziegler and 10 other unidentified\u200d defendants are accused of obtaining material belonging to Hunter \u200cBiden and posting \u201ctens of thousands of emails,\u200d thousands\u2063 of photos, and dozens of\u2064 videos and recordings\u201d \u2062online.<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden \u200dis asking\u200c for a jury trial \u200dto decide the \u2063proper damages and an injunction barring Ziegler\u200c from \u2063accessing or tampering\u200c with his data in \u200dthe \u2062future.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWhile Defendant Ziegler is entitled to his extremist and \u200dcounterfactual opinions, he has no right to engage in illegal activities \u2063to advance his right-wing agenda,\u201d wrote\u200c attorneys\u200b for Hunter Biden. \u201cYet that is precisely what Defendant Ziegler \u200dand his so-called \u2062\u2018nonprofit research\u200c group\u2019 \u2026 \u200bhave \u2064done.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>An inquiry for comment was not immediately answered \u2062by Ziegler\u2019s legal counsel.<\/p>\n<p>Ziegler\u200d previously\u2064 criticized \u201cthe disgusting lawfare\u2064 tactics by the president\u2019s\u2062 corrupt &#038; degenerate bagman\u200d &#038; son against @mpolousa\u201d on \u2062X,\u2064 the site formerly known as Twitter, after receiving\u200d a document\u2064 retention notice from Hunter Biden\u2019s lawyer earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>The Bidens have been described by Ziegler as \u201ca pack of feral \u2064dogs\u201d in his social \u200cmedia comments. His\u200b courageous investigative work has also made him famous in\u2062 conservative media.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>He \u201cregularly brag[s] about their illegal \u200bactivities in \u2064interviews with members\u200d of the media,\u2064 on social\u200d media,\u200c and on \u2062right-wing podcasts,\u201d according to\u200b the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2019s attorneys \u2062also describe Ziegler as \u201ca zealot who\u200b has waged a sustained, unhinged, and obsessed campaign against [Hunter Biden] and the entire Biden\u2062 family for more than two\u2064 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In March, \u200bthe legal team for Hunter Biden also sued computer \u2063repairman John Paul Mac Isaac for \u201callegedly stealing and leaking data from a \u200dlaptop that belonged to \u200cthe president\u2019s son in April 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u2064case is still underway, and\u2063 the computer repairman has denied any wrongdoing. \u2064In his company contract, Mac \u200cIsaac stipulates that if any client leaves\u200b their items at his business for more than 90 days, then the electronics \u200cor \u2063other items become his \u2064personal property.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, \u200cHunter Biden still has additional impending legal\u200b issues of his own.<\/p>\n<p>He has seen a number\u200b of setbacks in recent months, starting with the failure of a plea agreement that \u200bmay have put a stop to the federal probe into his international business transactions.<\/p>\n<p>That deal would\u200b have allowed him to attend a diversion program\u200d to avoid prosecution on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/victims-blame-soros-backed-prosecutors-for-crime-wave-in-u-s-cities\/\" title=\"Victims Blame Soros-Backed Prosecutors for Crime Wave in U.S. Cities\">felony gun charge<\/a>\u200d and plead guilty to two \u200dminor\u200b tax charges\u2064 to almost certainly escape jail time.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200ctwo-pronged agreement, however, broke down in court at a \u200dhearing in July, and \u200dU.S. \u2062Attorney David Weiss, \u200dwho has since been\u2064 promoted to\u200d the \u200cposition of special \u200ccounsel, has indicated his\u200c desire to arrest Hunter \u2063Biden in various jurisdictions on crimes related to \u2063taxes and firearms.<\/p>\n<p>Both Hunter and his father, \u2063Joe Biden,\u200d are \u200cstill under investigation in Washington, D.C., by a GOP-led \u2064congressional \u200ccommittee into what James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, referred to as the Biden family\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/blue-state-blues-the-2020-election-gets-a-giant-asterisk-over-hunter-biden-laptop\/\" title=\"Blue State Blues: The 2020 Election* Gets a Giant Asterisk over Hunter Biden Laptop\">shady foreign business deals<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
