Ultimately, it\u2019s\u200c my fault\u200d for not being more directly involved \u2063with the venues who have reached out. My plate has\u200d been full and I delegated \u2063the responsibility to someone else to help me book,\u201d the singer shared with fans\u200c on Facebook Monday night. \u200d\u201cI am not pointing fingers at Cotton Eyed Joe, I don\u2019t know where the miscommunication took place. I\u2019m just upset seeing\u2064 those prices.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe will\u2062 find another place in the Knoxville area that can do a $25 ticket and free \u2064meet and greet,\u201d Anthony continued. \u201cI will work \u200cto \u2063get your tickets refunded from \u200cmy \u2062own budget if they can\u2019t. This will never happen again.\u200c Thanks for \u200cyour patience. My shows would never cost more than $40, \u2064ideally no\u2063 more than \u2064$25. Hell, out of the\u200c 4 shows we have \u2064currently done, 2 \u2064of them have been completely free. This will\u2064 get straightened out tonight. Hold off on buying tickets for\u2063 now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/singer-oliver-anthony-cancels-tennessee-show-over-high-ticket-prices\/\" title=\"Oliver Anthony, singer, cancels Tennessee show due to expensive tickets.\">nightclub fired back<\/a> at the singer for their reasoning \u200cof the \u200cticket prices with a Facebook post of their\u2062 own. \u200bCotton\u2063 Eyed Joe said the ticket prices reflected a \u201cbreak \u200deven\u201d amount, claiming it had made a deal with Anthony to play at the venue for an hour for $120,000.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cMost times we say a show has been canceled due to circumstances beyond our control\u2026 Well, we are canceling the Oliver Anthony show under our full \u2064control.
