The announcement comes days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) <a href=\"https:\/\/weartv.com\/news\/nation-world\/updated-covid-19-vaccine-expected-to-be-released-in-coming-weeks-pandemic-moderna-pfizer-johnson-and-johnson-omicron-xbb15-eg5-ba286-centers-for-disease-control-and-prevention-low-risk-clinical-study-protection-stop-the-spread#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">voted<\/a> to recommend new Covid shots \u201cfor all \u2064Americans ages six months and older.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Florida, we\u200c will always use common \u200csense and protect the\u2063 rights and liberties of Floridians, including the \u2063right to accurate information,\u201d Ladapo\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flgov.com\/2023\/09\/13\/governor-desantis-hosts-discussion-about-covid-boosters-with-state-surgeon-general-and-health-experts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> during a virtual \u2064discussion\u200d hosted \u200bby Gov. \u2063Ron \u2063DeSantis.<\/p>\n<p>According\u2063 to a <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahealthcovid19.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/20230913-booster-guidance-final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press release<\/a> from the\u200c FDOH, the agency based its new recommendations on the\u200b \u201cabsence of any\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-advises-against-new-covid-boosters-for-most-age-groups-citing-no-sufficient-clinical-evidence\/\" title=\"Florida advises against new Covid boosters for most age groups due to lack of sufficient clinical evidence.\">meaningful booster-specific clinical trial data performed<\/a> in humans\u201d that warrants the shots\u2019 approval by federal health agencies.\u200c FDOH also claimed \u2062that the\u2063 federal government \u201cfailed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fda-panel-votes-against-approving-covid-booster-shots-to-general-public\/\" title=\"FDA panel votes against approving COVID booster shots to general public\">provide sufficient data<\/a> to support the\u200b safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u200c will not stand by and let the FDA and CDC\u200b use healthy \u200cFloridians as guinea pigs for new booster shots that have not been\u200d proven to be\u200d safe \u200bor effective,\u201d DeSantis said. \u201cOnce again, Florida is the first state in the nation to stand up and \u2062provide guidance based on truth, not Washington edicts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drs. Jay Bhattacharya,\u200b Tracy Beth Hoeg, and\u200d Patrick Whelan also \u2063attended Wednesday\u2019s discussion.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>Since their rollout two years ago, \u200b<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/heres-where-every-gop-senator-stands-on-the-risky-covid-shots\/\" title=\"Here\u2019s Where Every GOP Senator Stands On The Risky Covid Shots\">mounting medical data<\/a> indicates the mRNA shots are not as \u201csafe\u201d and \u201ceffective\u201d as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pfizer.com\/news\/press-release\/press-release-detail\/pfizer-and-biontech-confirm-high-efficacy-and-no-serious\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">originally marketed<\/a>. An <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/accounts\/FLDOH\/bulletins\/3312697\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">analysis<\/a> published by Ladapo\u2019s office \u200bin October, for\u2064 example, found \u201can 84% increase \u200bin the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males\u2062 18-39 \u200byears \u200bold\u2063 within 28 days\u2062 following mRNA vaccination.\u201d In citing\u2063 the analysis, Ladapo officially updated his office\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/floridahealthcovid19.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/20221007-guidance-mrna-covid19-vaccines-doc.pdf?utm_medium=email&#038;utm_source=govdelivery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">guidance<\/a> on the jabs, advising against giving\u200d them\u200c to 18-39-year-old males.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, nations such as\u2062 France,\u2063 Denmark, Germany, \u2062and others have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/28\/why-arent-more-republicans-highlighting-the-risks-of-giving-infants-covid-shots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recommended against<\/a> \u201cthe distribution of\u2062 the Moderna Covid shots\u200b for individuals under\u2063 the age \u2064of 30,\u201d with all of them \u201cciting the documented risk of heart inflammation among young people as\u200b justification.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In response\u2064 to such concerns, both <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/12\/22\/florida-supreme-court-rules-that-desantis-can-impanel-grand-jury-to-investigate-covid-19-vaccine-makers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Florida<\/a> and \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/02\/texas-ag-launches-investigation-into-misrepresentations-by-covid-jab-manufacturers-the-public-must-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Texas<\/a> have launched respective investigations into the shots\u2019 manufacturers\u2062 for any potential \u201cwrongdoing.\u201d\u200c Meanwhile, Arkansas Gov.
