In an article published Monday, The Washington Post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2023\/09\/11\/threads-covid-coronavirus-searches-blocked\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> that when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/momentous-shift-google-changes-search-algorithm-after-new-york-times-slams-big-tech-giant-over-online-slander\/\" title=\"\u2018Momentous Shift\u2019: Google Changes Search Algorithm After New York Times Slams Big Tech Giant Over \u2018Online Slander\u2019\">users search<\/a> for Covid content, Threads generates \u201ca blank screen that showed no search results and a pop-up linking to the website of the Centers for Disease\u2062 Control and Prevention.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Likewise, when I searched for Covid content on Instagram\u2019s \u201cReels,\u201d \u201cTags\u201d,\u200b and \u200c\u201cFor you\u201d search sections, I was met with a CDC pop-up and, below that, two \u201ctrusted resources,\u201d the World Health Organization (WHO)\u2064 and the United Nations International Children\u2019s Emergency Fund. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1340905454\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-15ec32e5915ebc8bf0299bd5fdfb05fe fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-15ec32e5915ebc8bf0299bd5fdfb05fe\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><\/figure>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/08\/renewed-hysteria-shows-why-we-need-a-commission-for-covid-accountability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">return<\/a> of Covid censorship comes as the corporate media, \u2062Democrats, health\u2063 bureaucrats, and \u200dleft-wing\u2064 celebrities are re-upping Covid fear and hysteria. <\/p>\n<p>The\u2064 federal and global health bureaucrats know\u200c that, like the seasonal flu,\u200b there will <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/06\/petty-covid-tyrants-want-to-bring-back-masks-and-lockdowns-dont-let-them\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">always be<\/a> new variants of Covid. \u200bThey can\u2019t hide\u2063 from the obvious realities that lockdowns did more harm\u2062 than good, masks are ineffective, and \u2062vaccines and the never-ending boosters do not prevent people from contracting or transmitting Covid. Yet\u200b to keep their harmful policies on \u200blife support, they\u2019ve spread lies and waged censorship campaigns for three years now.  <\/p>\n<p>The UN and its subsidiary, the \u2062WHO, are guilty of spreading some of the most <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/06\/15\/former-cdc-head-redfield-says-world-health-organization-is-compromised\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">harmful<\/a> \u2062 Covid <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/03\/28\/america-must-opt-out-of-the-world-health-organizations-global-medical-tyranny\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">disinformation<\/a>, suppressing \u200daccurate data, and smearing dissenting\u2063 views, so \u200dwhy has it been named the\u200b arbiters of truth on everything Covid by Meta? And why is Covid information subject to so much \u2062censorship (again)?   <\/p>\n<p>To \u2064answer these questions we need to evaluate the United Nations\u2019 initial response to Covid-19 and \u200bits exploitation of fear to achieve its broader global governance aims, as outlined in Whitney Webb and Iain Davis\u2019 investigative report \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/unlimitedhangout.com\/2023\/06\/investigative-series\/sdg16-part-1-building-the-global-police-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SDG16: Part 1 \u2014 Building the Global Police State<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d8fd5bac2f3f2f6123b9083cab7e7290 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-d8fd5bac2f3f2f6123b9083cab7e7290\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The UN\u2019s Covid Content \u2064Moderation<\/h2>\n<p>In their report, Webb and Davis recount how in 2020, \u2063the UN Department of Global Communications launched the \u201cVerified\u201d campaign, which seeks to \u201cpartner with\u2062 United Nations agencies and country teams, influencers, civil society, business and media organizations to distribute trusted, accurate content and work with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platforms<\/a> to \u200croot out hate and harmful assertions about COVID-19.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is no indication on Verified\u2019s website that the campaign ceased operations. The UN has already proudly admitted to <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/we-own-the-science-un-rep-announces-google-partnership-during-world-economic-forum-disinformation-panel#google_vignette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">conspiring<\/a> with Big Tech companies to alter search results, as we are seeing now on Instagram. The WHO has even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/feature-stories\/detail\/immunizing-the-public-against-misinformation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bragged<\/a> \u2064about \u201cworking\u2063 with \u200dmore than 50 digital companies and social media platforms including TikTok, Google, Viber, WhatsApp, and YouTube to ensure that science-based health messages from the organization or other official \u200bsources appear first when people search for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/did-ag-barr-create-durham-special-counsel-to-prevent-president-trump-from-releasing-information-related-to-crossfire-hurricane\/\" title=\"Did AG Barr Create Durham Special Counsel to Prevent President Trump from Releasing Information Related to Crossfire Hurricane?\">information related<\/a>\u200b to COVID-19.\u00a0\u201c<\/p>\n<p>While we do not have access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/revealed-whistleblower-docs-show-big-4-firms-massive-anti-racist-indoctrination\/\" title=\"Revealed: Whistleblower Docs Show \u2018Big 4\u2019 Firm\u2019s Massive \u2018Anti-Racist\u2019 Indoctrination\">internal communications<\/a> between tech giants\u200c like Meta and the UN, it\u2019s not unreasonable to \u2063conclude the UN is still involved in the \u200clatest Covid censorship,\u2063 given its history of meddling in content \u201cmoderation\u201d and the fact that Instagram only provides \u2063two UN-linked accounts under \u201ctrusted sources.\u201d <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018We Own the Science\u2019 <\/h2>\n<p>Of course, the UN and the Verified campaign specifically \u2062are not inerrant entities on Covid or anything else. Verified <a href=\"https:\/\/shareverified.com\/2021\/07\/13\/why-should-i-take-the-covid-vaccine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claims<\/a> on its website that mass vaccination is the way to \u201cend the pandemic.\u201d This statement defies the reality that vaccines do not prevent people from\u2063 contracting or transmitting\u200d Covid and it purposefully ignores the \u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-08-27\/previous-covid-prevents-delta-infection-better-than-pfizer-shot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">efficacy<\/a> of natural\u2062 immunity. <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b0ccf115b755b16d10e08bc763cd81c6 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-b0ccf115b755b16d10e08bc763cd81c6\"><\/div>\n<p>Science is never settled because people are fallible. Over the \u200ccenturies of human existence, our collective understanding of the world we live in has evolved dramatically. Unlike true thinkers, the \u2062UN is not\u200b interested in learning from or debating with\u200c anyone. When discussing search result manipulation, UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/we-own-the-science-un-rep-announces-google-partnership-during-world-economic-forum-disinformation-panel#google_vignette\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stated<\/a> plainly,\u200b \u201cWe \u2064own the science, and we think that the world should know it.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>No one can \u201cown\u201d science. What \u200bFleming really means is that\u200c the UN\u2062 owns the <em>narrative<\/em>, and she\u2019s right.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Revoking \u2018Human Rights\u2019 to\u2062 Control the Narrative <\/h2>\n<p>Why is the UN so willing to trample on\u200d social media users\u2019 free speech? The UN famously introduced \u2063the idea of \u201chuman rights\u201d in its 1948 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sites\/un2.un.org\/files\/2021\/03\/udhr.pdf#_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Universal \u2063Declaration of Human Rights<\/a>. Unlike the \u201cinalienable rights\u201d acknowledged in the Declaration of Independence, Webb and Davis \u2062explain that so-called \u201chuman rights\u201d are considered to be given to people by the government, not God, and can consequently be\u200b taken away.  <\/p>\n<p>Article 29 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/about-us\/universal-declaration-of-human-rights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">says the quiet part out loud<\/a>: that \u200dhuman rights can be revoked on grounds of protecting \u201cpublic order and the general welfare in a\u200c democratic society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We saw the willful revocation of these rights in action in 2020, when the UN published a document titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/unsdg.un.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-04\/COVID-19-and-Human-Rights.pdf#_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">COVID-19\u200c and Human Rights<\/a>,\u201d claiming \u201cnational emergencies may require limits to be placed on the exercise of certain human rights.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By branding freedom of speech a \u201chuman right,\u201d \u200cthe UN justifies taking it away. The same document says that the UN \u200d\u201cwelcome[s]\u201d \u201cflags and takedowns\u2063 of misinformation\u201d\u2064 and emphasizes the importance of giving \u201cprominence to reliable information,\u201d \u200dmeaning algorithmic manipulation, like\u200b shadowbanning and boosting. <\/p>\n<p>What constitutes mis- and disinformation? In the eyes of the UN, \u201canything that erodes \u200b\u2018trust\u2019 in the UN\u2014in its ideas, policy agendas, agencies and \u2018stakeholder partners,\u2019\u2019\u2019 write Webb and Davis.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste<\/h2>\n<p>The UN <a href=\"https:\/\/unsdg.un.org\/sites\/default\/files\/2020-04\/COVID-19-and-Human-Rights.pdf#_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stated<\/a> in April 2020\u200d that Covid \u201cpresents a unique opportunity to course-correct and begin to tackle long-standing public \u2063policies and practices that have been harmful for people and their human\u200b rights.\u201d In \u200bother words, the UN \u200dis only too excited \u200cto use \u2062the excuse of pandemic \u200bresponse to implement its openly globalist agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, the censorship and suppression campaign playing out on Instagram and elsewhere is \u200dan exercise in control over\u2064 the masses. It does not warrant denying \u2063citizens\u2019 rights via mandates or censorship (nothing does). That\u200b was true in 2020 and it\u2019s true today. As long as people know the truth, they\u2019ll see\u2064 through the UN\u2019s fear\u200d campaign \u2014 that\u2019s precisely why the UN has to rely on censorship to secure the trust and \u201ccompliance\u201d it desperately \u200cseeks.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f55aad1aa6092826cd8918f646d2bc51 fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f55aad1aa6092826cd8918f646d2bc51\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">    \t\t\t\t\t   \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Threads, Meta&#8217;s rival to Twitter, faced backlash for censoring Covid-related content.
