Yacarely Diaz-Castro, the illegal immigrant, collided\u2064 with a Chesapeake police officer while allegedly driving \u200cunder the influence of alcohol. She \u200bdid not possess a driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n<p>In a letter to Secretary Mayorkas, Gaetz highlighted that Diaz-Castro had entered the United States illegally\u2064 from Nicaragua seven months ago and claimed to have\u2064 received a &#8220;Notice to Report&#8221; form from Immigration and Customs Enforcement \u200b(ICE). This\u200c form instructs recipients to report to ICE within 60 days.<\/p>\n<p>Gaetz&#8217;s letter included seven specific questions for Secretary Mayorkas, seeking information about Diaz-Castro&#8217;s immigration status, her date of\u200b unlawful entry into the United States, any contact with ICE, and the number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/scotus-throws-out-challenge-to-president-trumps-bid-to-exclude-illegal-aliens-from-being-counted-in-determining-congressional-seats\/\" title=\"SCOTUS Throws Out Challenge to President Trump\u2019s Bid to Exclude Illegal Aliens from Being Counted in Determining Congressional Seats\">illegal immigrants<\/a> who have failed to comply with similar notices. In February, it was revealed that approximately 600,000 border crossers, including Diaz-Castro, had been issued notices to \u2063report (NTR) by the Department of Homeland Security. These NTRs resulted \u200bin their release into the \u200cinterior of\u2063 the United States without the obligation to appear before an immigration judge.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration&#8217;s parole program allows tens of thousands of individuals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to be released into the United States each month.
