Ted Cruz: 12 Democrat-Run Cities Had Record Homicides in 2021 \u2014 \u2018Soft-on-Crime,\u2019 Anti-Police Policies\">abruptly halted<\/a>. This decision came after a $9.5 million class\u200d action settlement over alleged &#8220;deceptive&#8221; blockout dates\u200d that prevented guests from entering Disneyland or California Adventures in Anaheim, \u2064California.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200c top-priced\u200c Inspire Key annual pass, \u200bwhich costs $1,599 per year, is currently unavailable \u2064for purchase. This \u200camount \u2064represents about five \u200cpercent of the total cost of the pass, according to\u200b a recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2023\/09\/11\/how-to-get-your-disneyland-magic-key-class-action-settlement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">story<\/a> \u2064 by the Orange County Register.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Disney \u200cofficials\u2063 claim \u2064that\u2062 the decision to pause Magic Key \u2064pass sales was made prior to the resolution of \u200bthe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-i-want-to-restore-free-speech-for-every-american\/\" title=\"President Trump: I want to restore free speech for every American\">class action suit<\/a>.\u2063 However, they have not provided any information regarding the reason for the\u2064 sales pause.<\/p>\n<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic in\u200b 2020,\u200c the park temporarily discontinued \u2063its original annual pass program. \u2062In \u2063August of\u2064 the following year,\u2062 they introduced the new Magic \u200bKey replacement. These tiered passes quickly sold out within\u2064 a few months, leading to the\u2064 filing\u2062 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/psaki-defends-treasury-secretary-janet-yellen-for-taking-money-from-citadel-wont-commit-to-recusal-in-gamestop-scandal-video\/\" title=\"Psaki Defends Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen For Taking Money From Citadel \u2013 Won\u2019t Commit to Recusal in GameStop Scandal (VIDEO)\">class action lawsuit<\/a> in November 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The $1,399 Dream Key was ultimately replaced by the newer $1,599 Inspire Key. The new annual \u200bpass program now explicitly outlines \u200bthe terms and conditions\u200b regarding blackout dates.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to\u200b these \u2063terms, Disneyland \u2062allocates reservations among annual passholders and daily ticket\u2062 purchasers, meaning only a portion of the park&#8217;s capacity is\u2063 available to \u200cpass holders.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A pass, therefore, does not guarantee park entry, even on dates when a pass is \u200bnot blocked out and even when a theme park \u2063is not at capacity,&#8221; the terms and \u200dconditions state.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Disneyland determines the number of reservations\u2062 available\u200d to passholders.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On any given date, park reservations may still be available for theme park\u200d tickets even though park reservations allocated\u2064 to \u200cthe passes are fully reserved,&#8221; the \u2062new Magic Key pass\u2062 terms and conditions explain.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disneyland Annual Magic Key pass sales were stopped due to a $9.5 million class action settlement.
