That kid is really good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Entering a Sept. 15 contest at Westminster, Forsgren leads all\u2064 CIF Southern Section\u2063 ground-gainers\u2063 with 909 yards through four games, ranking fourth in California and 10th in\u200b the nation, according to MaxPreps.com.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s also tied for second in the\u200d Southern Section\u200c with 13 touchdowns, while averaging 10.4 yards per \u2064carry and 227.3 yards per game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis\u200d kid has a \u200bshot\u2064 to play on\u200b Saturday afternoons,\u201d Esperanza Coach JP Presley told\u2063 The Epoch Times. \u201cI\u2019m \u2064sending\u2062 his film to every \u2064college out there. I keep telling everybody, \u2018If he\u2019s not on your board, someone\u2019s going to find themselves a keeper.\u2019 He\u2019s \u2062got grades. (Courtesy of JP Presley)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Already,\u2064 Forsgren\u200c has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/police-declare-unlawful-assembly-after-calif-party-goes-viral\/\" title=\"Police declare unlawful assembly after Calif. party goes viral\">received significant interest<\/a> from schools in the Mountain West \u200dand Big Sky conferences, as well as some from \u2063what \u2063might be \u200cconsidered lower-tier members of the Pacific-12, even as the long-venerable conference disintegrates before our very eyes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m keeping my options open \u200dright now, looking for\u200c some bigger schools,\u201d Forsgren told\u200d The Epoch\u2062 Times. \u201cI \u2062just go out there and play my game, try to make it to\u2062 college. That\u2019s the goal right now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Forsgren certainly \u2062enhanced his resume against Dana \u200cHills with 5-, \u206355-, 2-, 8-, and \u20621-yard touchdown \u2064runs,\u2064 as well as a 27-yard \u2063reception for a score. In addition, he broke off two \u206227-yard runs, as\u2064 well \u2063as nine \u2064others\u2063 of at \u2064least 10 yards each among his 37 carries.<\/p>\n<p>Operating behind a\u2063 veteran offensive line that \u201cknows the importance of getting the run\u2062 game going,\u201d according to Mr.\u2064 Presley, Forsgren certainly recognizes his good\u2064 fortune.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just awesome, hitting \u200cthat hole \u2063wide\u200d open, with no one in front of me,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s amazing. A lot of it is the O line, the wide\u200c receivers blocking, and just\u200c a lot of\u2062 hard work being put in in \u2062practice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tackles Ty Meyer and Dillon Green, guards Jason Graffia and Jacob Fallon, center \u200dQuentin Mack, \u200band tight end Diego Bautista paved the way for Forsgren against\u200c Dana Hills.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf \u200bwe hit our blocks, he\u2019s off\u2062 to the races,\u201d Fallon told The Epoch Times.\u200d \u201cYou\u2019re just watching a guy\u2064 that\u2019s naturally gifted at\u200c football do his \u200bjob. He knows\u2062 how to read\u2064 the defense. He\u2019s great at\u2063 hitting the gap. He\u2019s a hard runner, the hardest runner\u2062 in the\u200c league, I think. He\u2019s so \u200bfast, so agile, \u2063so strong. He\u2019s just an overall great player. It\u2019s a blessing to be \u2063able to block for him, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Forsgren has gained more yardage in each of the past three games than \u200dhe did all of last\u2063 season, when he totaled\u200d 217 yards on 39 carries and\u2064 scored one touchdown in 10 \u200dgames.<\/p>\n<p>He carried 24 times for 264 yards and four touchdowns \u2062Aug. 25 in a 25\u20130\u2062 victory over Walnut, and picked \u2064up 253 yards \u2063on\u200c 19 carries, and scored three times Aug. 31<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Esperanza falling behind early and losing their season-opener, few Orange County high school football fans noticed Aaron Forsgren&#8217;s 67-yard rush as the senior running back.
