Minnesota and Wisconsin BOTH had 89%-90% Turnout -- Something That Is Highly Unlikely\">2020 election results<\/a>, filed several motions on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>They asked the court to sever his case from most but \u2063not all of the co-defendants, unseal all 2020 \u200delection materials, and disclose any deals the state \u2063offered any co-defendant or co-conspirator\u200c named in\u2063 the\u2063 indictment, witnesses, or any\u200b officer \u200dof agent of federal\u200b of\u2062 state governments, whether the deals or &#8220;bargains&#8221; were ultimately entered into or not.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Mr. Floyd\u2064 believes that the \u2064prosecution has already reached\u2063 plea \u200dbargains \u200cwith several co-defendants in \u2064the case, according to the filing.<\/p>\n<h2>Disclosure\u2063 of \u200dDeals<\/h2>\n<p>The\u2064 &#8220;reveal the deal&#8221; motion (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fultonclerk.org\/DocumentCenter\/View\/2173\/DEFENDANT-HARRISON-FLOYDS-MOTION-TO-REVEAL-THE-DEAL-AND-BRIEF-IN-SUPPORT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pdf<\/a>) specifically requests\u2064 the prosecution to include any summaries regarding the \u2064deals, dates on which the \u2063negotiations took place, polygraph examinations given to the witnesses, whether any of the witnesses\u200d reasonably anticipate being offered something in return in any \u2062other court, whether incarcerated witnesses were given\u2063 special \u2062privileges \u2064in return for\u200d their testimony, whether witnesses were \u200dgiven any sort of immunity for any offense, and any agreements with \u200cany <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oregon-governor-encourages-people-to-call-police-on-neighbors-violating-covid-orders\/\" title=\"Oregon Governor Encourages People To Call Police On Neighbors Violating COVID Orders\">law enforcement agencies<\/a> to not\u2063 take out warrants against such potential \u200dwitnesses. The 19 were indicted one month ago, with Ms. Willis arguing that their actions to \u200bchallenge \u200cthe 2020 election result in\u2064 Georgia constituted a \u200d&#8221;racketeering criminal\u200d enterprise.&#8221; \u200dAll were \u200dcharged with violating\u200d the state&#8217;s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act,\u200d and 40 other \u200dcounts.<\/p>\n<h2>Severing Case<\/h2>\n<p>In\u200c addition to violating the RICO statute, Mr. Floyd was charged with two other \u2064counts:\u200c conspiracy\u200c to \u200ccommit solicitation of false statements and writings, and\u200c influencing witnesses. He \u200dis named in 10 of the 161 acts of racketeering listed in the indictment.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The acts center around Mr. Floyd&#8217;s contact with co-defendant Stephen Lee, a\u2062 pastor from Illinois, and Trevian Kutti, a publicist. They had contacted\u2064 Ruby \u200dFreeman, an election worker and potential witness in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/2020-trump-campaign-attorney-says-pence-may-ask-state-lawmakers-to-decide-election\/\" title=\"2020 Trump campaign attorney says Pence may ask state lawmakers to decide election\">election fraud investigation<\/a>, and the indictment cites \u2062those phone calls and texts as &#8220;overt acts in furtherance \u200cof the conspiracy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Attorneys\u200b for \u2062Mr. \u200bFloyd are seeking to sever his \u2062case from 16 of the defendants, excluding Mr. \u200dLee and Ms.\u2064 Kutti (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fultonclerk.org\/DocumentCenter\/View\/2174\/DEFENDANT-HARRISON-FLOYDS-MOTION-TO-SEVER-OTHER-DEFENDANTS-AND-OFFENSES\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pdf<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Other\u200c than the fact \u200dthat he is \u2062a Republican and supporter of \u200cPresident Trump,\u2063 the \u2063remaining 38 counts do not\u200b involve Mr.\u200b Floyd at all, do \u200dnot connect him to \u200da common scheme or plan, and do not connect him or his co-defendants (Ms. Trevian Kutti and Rev. Stephen Lee) to the other 16 co-defendants and their facts,&#8221; they wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The others were indicted for actions including putting\u200d together an alternate \u2062slate of electors and \u2063questioning the integrity of the ballot machines\u200b used in the\u2064 election, which &#8220;are simply not relevant in the prosecution or defense of Mr.\u200c Floyd\u2062 and his immediate co-defendants.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Several defendants have already requested \u200btheir cases be severed from each other, some arguing\u2064 that \u2062the sprawling nature of the indictment hardly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/judge-tosses-sidney-powell-motion-in-trump-georgia-case-5487260\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">applies<\/a> to them.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>The\u200d prosecution has argued to keep the cases tethered, as it is \u200da RICO case, which would require prosecutors to try the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/judge-skeptical-as-prosecutors-claim-trump-georgia-trial-could-take-four-months-5487332\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">entire\u2064 case<\/a> each time against all defendants.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Attorneys representing Harrison Floyd, a co-defendant in a Georgia case against Donald Trump and 18 others over the 2020 election, filed motions on Monday.
