However,\u200c things\u200b didn&#8217;t go as planned, resulting in a series of mishaps that even led \u2063to the police being called\u2063 on Energy Secretary Jennifer\u200d Granholm&#8217;s team.<\/p>\n<h3>The Journey<\/h3>\n<p>The Daily Wire&#8217;s Daniel Chaitin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/energy-secretarys-electric-vehicle-roadtrip-devolves-into-scene-out-of-veep\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> that Granholm and\u200c her\u200c entourage set out on a journey from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Memphis, Tennessee, with town \u200chall events along \u200dthe way. NPR&#8217;s Camila Domonoske\u2062 joined the crew and shared her report\u2062 about the experience.<\/p>\n<h3>A Bumpy Ride<\/h3>\n<p>The purpose of the trip was to draw attention to the White House&#8217;s\u200d investments in green energy and\u2063 clean cars. However, Domonoske&#8217;s report revealed that\u200c the four-day venture\u200b was far from smooth.
