First of all, I \u2062don\u2019t\u2064 know about you,\u2063 but the process \u2062involved in making\u200d a child \u200bis infinitely more enjoyable than binge-watching the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/quentin-tarantinos-final-film-will-get-made-thanks-to-the-help-of-millions-of-taxpayers\/\" title=\"Millions of taxpayers aid Quentin Tarantino's last film.\">latest true-crime drama<\/a> on \u2063Hulu.<\/p>\n<p>But more than this, the response demonstrates\u200b a weird reversal\u2063 of\u200b social priorities. After\u2064 all,\u200b wouldn\u2019t it be better for \u2063young people to be having \u200bmore\u2064 children than watching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/search?q=new+marvel+movie&#038;qs=n&#038;form=QBRE&#038;sp=-1&#038;lq=0&#038;pq=new+marvel+movie&#038;sc=10-16&#038;sk=&#038;cvid=9AE31F4737504DAFB4673237117C01E5&#038;ghsh=0&#038;ghacc=0&#038;ghpl=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the next Marvel\u200d movie?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some countries, like\u2063 Hungary, \u2062think procreation is so \u2062important\u2063 it encourages\u200b couples \u2062to have children with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/us-to-return-to-full-employment-next-year-if-congress-passes-1-9-trillion-relief-bill-yellen\/\" title=\"US to Return to Full Employment Next Year if Congress Passes .9 Trillion Relief Bill: Yellen\">tax credits<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In the United\u2064 States, tax credits are going to director \u2064Quentin\u200c Tarantino to make another vulgar and \u2063<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/peter-pischke-this-time-is-different-boycott-disney-will-work\/\" title=\"Peter Pischke: This Time Is Different. Boycott Disney Will Work.\">gory film<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/business\/business-news\/quentin-tarantino-the-movie-critic-final-film-1235585500\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hollywood Reporter;<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe state\u2019s film office on Friday \u2063said\u200c that\u200c California\u2019s Film \u200b&#038; TV tax credit program will welcome a trio of feature films, including Quentin Tarantino\u2019s The Movie Critic, as well\u200b as a roster of 13 independent films. (No studio is currently attached to The Movie Critic yet.) \u2026Netflix ($20 million)\u2062 is the \u200donly major studio nabbing credits in this allotment\u200b for an untitled film. Lionsgate ($21.1 million) led the \u2064way in the previous\u2062 round of incentives and \u200bNetflix and Warner Bros. in the previous \u200dfour\u200b before \u200cthat.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You \u2064heard correctly, the state \u2062of \u2062California, which has the <a href=\"https:\/\/worldpopulationreview.com\/state-rankings\/debt-by-state\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fifth highest debt<\/a> among U.S. states (behind Democratic \u200cbastions\u2063 New\u2063 York,\u2062 New Jersey, Illinois \u200cand Massachusetts), and the <a href=\"https:\/\/turbotax.intuit.com\/tax-tips\/fun-facts\/states-with-the-highest-and-lowest-taxes\/L6HPAVqSF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highest taxes<\/a>, is\u2062 expanding that debt and putting those\u200b tax dollars to good use in promoting \u200dyet \u2063another Hollywood monstrosity.<\/p>\n<p>Now, one might think that \u200cthis would \u200cbe a good way\u2062 to get business,\u2062 in the \u200csense that some towns\u2063 and cities could use the jobs a movie-making endeavor could provide, as well as \u200da tourism boost that might be generated by being featured in \u200ca\u200c film. However, that justification would be a bit of a stretch in \u200bCalifornia, the \u200dhome of Hollywood.<\/p>\n<p>After all, isn\u2019t \u200ctourism a big reason why \u2062visitors go to California anyway?<\/p>\n<p>Now\u200d another argument might be \u2064that tax credits could help out a small business,\u2064 like an upstart director and a new production company.<\/p>\n<p>However, one only has to take a glance at Tarantino\u2019s net worth (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marca.com\/en\/lifestyle\/celebrity-net-worth\/2023\/03\/27\/6421ed18e2704ed9848b45a4.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">approximately $120 million<\/a>) to \u200crealize that \u201cwelfare\u201d \u200dis the last thing this dude needs.<\/p>\n<p>But for what the director has already\u200b announced will be his final film, according to The Hollywood Reporter, welfare is exactly what his work\u2062 is going to get. The production\u200c company behind \u2063\u201cThe Last Critic,\u201d L. Driver Productions, is\u200c due for $20.2 million in state money, according to \u200cThe Hollywood \u2064Reporter.<\/p>\n<p>Now, there\u200b are those\u2064 who\u200d would \u200bsay to all\u200c of \u200dthis: \u201cWho cares?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After all, Tarantino films do have a real audience, and do have\u200c artistic qualities to them,\u200d even if \u2063I find\u2063 them a bit over-the-top personally.\u2062 But \u2063hey, they aren\u2019t for everyone. Some people like\u2062 VW\u2064 Beetles and\u2064 mayo on their hot dogs. (Who am I \u2062to judge?)<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of how they feel\u2064 about \u2062Tarantino\u2019s \u200dwork, however, millions of taxpayers \u2063are going\u200c to be kicking in money to\u200b support it, compliments \u2062of <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2023\/09\/tarantino-final-movie-california-tax-credits-1235540632\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the California Film \u2062Commission<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But at some point, when\u2064 you have an\u200b actual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/birth-rates-rights-secret-weapon-liberal-values-backfire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">demographic\u2064 crisis<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-devastation-america-suffers-record-drug-overdoses-since-covid-lockdowns-began\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">drug crisis<\/a><\/a>, and the erosion of those fundamental <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/religion\/2019\/10\/17\/in-u-s-decline-of-christianity-continues-at-rapid-pace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">religious<\/a> and\u200d family values that make the building of a successful society\u200d possible, it seems a \u200dbit preposterous to take tax \u200bdollars from an\u2062 already overburdened public and \u2064give\u200d it\u200b to millionaires so they can\u2062 make more crap\u200c in order\u200b that people can continue to lose\u200d brain cells in front of \u200ca screen.<\/p>\n<p>I have already\u200d mentioned Hungary as an example, which has been inspiring many on the populist \u200cright \u200bfor encouraging the country\u2019s birth rate\u2064 and marriage through tax incentives.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2063 are those\u200b on \u200bthe populist right who love this. \u200cThere are those \u200don the libertarian right who do not. \u200dAnd there are conservative positions in between. But let us consider\u200c the notion\u2062 in principle: If \u200byou are going\u200b to use tax\u200d dollars for\u200d something to\u200d help a\u2064 society \u200bturn around from a bad \u2064place, \u200dwouldn\u2019t this \u200dbe a good \u2064place to start?<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, a country concerned enough about\u2062 the institution\u200c of the family to levy funds for its support seems to indicate that at\u200b least the leadership of that nation has \u200cits head screwed on correctly.<\/p>\n<p>What does this say about \u200cthe leadership \u200bof California? You would think, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nicest-sanctuary-city-in-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with\u2064 needles and \u200cfeces<\/a> \u200d making a national embarrassment \u2064of one of its\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/radical-cultural-change-coming-to-america\/\" title=\"Radical Cultural Change Coming to America?\">major cities<\/a>, perhaps \u200bthat money could be better spent elsewhere?<\/p>\n<p>We need to turn\u2062 around our society and we need\u200b to\u200b do so by making\u200c changes \u2064at home.
