It\u200b is\u2062 hard\u2064 every\u2064 day. It never goes away.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Her daughter, Michelle Renee \u2064Bratton, was just\u2063 23 years old and working as \u2063an executive assistant at the Twin Towers \u2064of the World Trade Center\u2063 when the terrorist-hijacked planes struck the buildings.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Just\u200d before the attack, I \u2062stayed with \u200cMichelle and Erin [her other daughter] \u200b in their apartment to try to help them\u200d move in, \u2063and at\u200c three o\u2019clock \u2064in\u2062 the\u200d morning, \u200cI woke up, and there was \u200ca blue\u200c light around her,&#8221;\u2064 she said. &#8220;I knew something\u2063 was \u200cgoing on but didn\u2019t know what.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Throughout the years, Ms. Bratton found solace in her faith and realized the\u2062 importance of \u200cremaining vigilant. She emphasized, &#8220;We always have to\u2064 be vigilant\u200d because our enemies are always trying to figure out ways to attack us. It was the premonition that we\u200d let our\u2062 guard down. (Cara Ding\/The\u200b Epoch \u2064Times)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Another attendee, Carolyn Livesey, from Middletown,\u2064 faithfully accompanied her \u2064best friend, Heloiza Asaro,\u200c to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fbi-director-wray-we-are-stronger-smarter-and-better\/\" title=\"FBI Director Wray: We are stronger, smarter and better\">remembrance ceremony<\/a> every year. Ms. Asaro&#8217;s husband, \u2064a firefighter, \u200ctragically lost\u2064 his life on that fateful\u200b day.<\/p>\n<p>Carolyn \u2063Livesey shared, &#8220;All the time,\u2063 we think of \u200dhim, and we pray for him and his family.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Carl Asaro left \u2063behind six \u200bchildren, four of whom followed in their father&#8217;s footsteps to become firefighters.<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-figure\">\n<figure style=\"width:600px\" class=\"aligncenter\"><figcaption>Carolyn Livesey at \u200cOrange \u2062County September 11th \u2062Remembrance Ceremony at Orange County Arboretum in Montgomery, N.Y., on Sept. 11, 2023. Each\u2062 name was\u200c solemnly\u2062 read \u2062aloud, followed by\u200d the\u200b tolling of a bell.<\/p>\n<p>County Executive Steve Neuhaus expressed his\u2063 pride in the community, stating, \u200c&#8221;We do remember, we \u200bdo\u200b reflect, \u2062and\u200c we\u200b never forget in this country.
