What if a Republican governor\u2064 of a state declares a health emergency \u200cand unilaterally outlaws abortion\u2064 in that \u200cstate, where the legislature has not done so by statute,&#8221; Harlow posed. &#8220;Following your\u2062 logic,\u2063 would that\u200d also be sound?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ah \u2013 in this situation, honestly, I don&#8217;t think so, but that\u200c is what&#8217;s happening in\u200b this country,&#8221; Grisham replied.<\/p>\n<p>During the interview, Grisham defended her order \u200cagainst critics who claimed it \u200dwas unconstitutional. She argued, &#8220;It&#8217;s\u200c not for\u200c police to tell me what&#8217;s constitutional or not.
