Additionally, they project $2.1 billion will be \u2062spent on\u2064 the Senate, $1.7 billion on the House, $361 million \u200bon gubernatorial elections and $3.3 billion on other elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>With the projected numbers, the \u200b$10.2 billion expected for 2024 would be a 13% increase over the $9 billion\u200c spent\u2064 during the \u200b2020 election cycle. This is \u2062a significant increase compared to the \u20632016 election cycle where $2.6 billion was spent.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This comes after\u200c ad spending in the GOP race has hit \u200ba rapid pace, with over $100 million already spent so far in the primaries, eclipsing other previous elections.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Streaming \u200btelevision is expected \u2062to make \u200ca higher ad increase, TV ad spending is projected to\u200d decrease and Spanish-language ads are projected \u2062to\u200c go up 9% from the previous cycle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>However, AdImpact expects digital spending to increase this election cycle compared to 2022, but it is not expected to hit \u2062the same numbers of the \u200dlast presidential cycle. It also\u200c is projecting a 27% increase in presidential primary spending between 2020 and\u200d 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additionally, the firm \u200balso \u200dexpects \u200ba 17% increase in general election ad spending to $2.1 billion, with over 75% of the projected money coming in from swing states: Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan,\u200d North Carolina, Nevada and Wisconsin.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>All of the states except the Tar Heel State\u200d flipped from Donald Trump to Joe Biden in the past presidential election.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
