Ted Lieu \u200d(D-Calif.).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether or not we agree with it, the Supreme Court\u2019s decisions regarding the Constitution\u2064 are the law of the land,\u201d \u200bMr. Lieu wrote.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode post-related-videos\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>When challenged about the\u2063 post, Mr. Lieu cited last year\u2019s Supreme Court decision in New York State Rifle and \u2064Pistol v. We openly talk about \u2062different views, and I appreciate our openness to do so.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a\u2064 good rule of thumb to make sure you never\u2063 agree with someone 100% because no one is ever all ways (sic) right, especially me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Several posters from both sides of the aisle criticized Mr. Hogg.<\/p>\n<p>Conservatives expressed \u2064surprise\u2063 that they agreed with him \u200con this point. One\u200d offered to talk further.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is great. Would love to discuss guns and 2A\u200d with you,\u201d wrote Tim Pool, social media influencer and host of the Tim\u2064 IRL podcast.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Mr. Hogg became a gun control activist after surviving the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting at \u2063Marjory Stoneman \u2062Douglas\u2063 High School in Parkland, Florida. He and other \u200bstudents hid in a closet \u200bas 17 people were killed and 17 others \u2062were \u200cwounded \u2062by a 19-year-old former student.<\/p>\n<h2>Second\u200c Order Aimed \u2063at Drugs<\/h2>\n<p>Gov. Grisham, also on\u200b Sept. 8, signed a second executive order aimed at reducing illegal drug\u2064 use.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The first, executive order 2023-130, declares gun violence a public health emergency; and the second,\u2064 2023-132, names drug abuse a public \u2062health emergency.<\/p>\n<p>In a\u200d press release on her\u200d website, Ms.\u2062 Grisham wrote that she issued the directives after the shooting deaths of three children, including an 11-year-old boy on Sept. 6, and two\u2062 mass shootings. She said her decision was made after \u201ca substantive and earnest conversation\u201d with law enforcement and public officials\u2062 from Albuquerque and Bernalillo County.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 order dealing with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/some-liberals-criticize-new-mexico-governors-suspension-of-gun-rights\/\" title=\"Liberals slam New Mexico Governor's gun rights suspension.\">guns exempts licensed \u200bsecurity guards<\/a> and police officers. Civilians with carry \u200dpermits\u2063 must place guns in\u200c locked boxes and use trigger locks or other means to prevent them from being fired before carrying them\u2063 in public.<\/p>\n<p>During a press conference on Friday, Ms. Grisham said no constitutional rights are absolute and that, \u200cas \u200dgovernor, she must suspend certain rights when\u2063 she has \u2064declared an emergency.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute,&#8221; she\u2063 stated.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are\u200c restrictions on free \u200dspeech; there \u200care restrictions on my freedoms.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bernalillo County Sheriff \u2062John Allen expressed concerns over Ms. Grisham\u2019s o<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>control activists and a member of Gov.
