However, after landing, the captain\u200d noticed a flat \u2064tire sensation on the left side, and the crew observed the plane tilting to the \u2062left.<\/p>\n<p>Upon stopping the plane on a\u200c taxiway, the \u2064captain \u2064opened a window and was shocked to \u200bsee the aircraft resting on the housing\u2062 surrounding the left engine. Both engines were immediately shut down, and passengers safely disembarked on\u200d the taxiway.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, \u200cthere were no reported injuries among the 106 passengers and six crew members on the Aug. 20 flight, as confirmed\u200b by the NTSB.<\/p>\n<p>The NTSB&#8217;s examination revealed that\u200b a trunnion pin in the left landing gear had broken, causing the gear assembly to puncture \u2062through the top of \u2064the left wing.
