Glenn Youngkin&#8217;s pardon<\/h2>\n<p>Virginia Democrats and Loudoun County\u2019s George Soros-backed prosecutor are lashing out at Gov. \u200cGlenn Youngkin (R-VA) over his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/glenn-youngkin-grants-absolute-pardon-to-loudoun-dad-arrested-at-school-board-meeting\">Sunday pardon \u200cof Scott\u200c Smith<\/a>, whose daughter was raped in\u2062 school and who the prosecutor, Buta Biberaj, personally sought to put in jail.<\/p>\n<p>Biberaj said Youngkin\u2019s pardon \u201cis\u200d an unprecedented and \u2062inappropriate \u2062intervention into an\u200b active legal \u200ccase,\u201d and said he\u2063 was taking action \u201cnot \u200bfor justice but for political gain.\u201d \u200cScott Surovell, the vice chairman of\u2064 the Democrat Senate Caucus, said \u200cYoungkin\u2019s pardon \u200cwas an abandonment of \u201claw and order\u201d intended to \u201chelp his failing presidential\u200d ambitions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith was set\u2062 to face his second trial this month for the \u2062crime of \u200bcursing at a leftist activist who said she didn\u2019t believe his daughter was raped. Smith was arrested after a police officer\u2064 grabbed him from behind \u200das he\u2062 was exchanging words with activist Jackie\u2063 Schworm, leading to a televised\u200c tussle with police. But the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ammon-bundy-supporters-to-protest-in-idaho-on-wednesday-over-his-arrest\/\" title=\"Ammon Bundy Supporters to Protest in Idaho on Wednesday Over His Arrest\">resisting arrest charge<\/a> was thrown out, meaning Smith was being prosecuted solely \u200cfor an\u2064 angry exchange of \u2062words.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Gov. They bloodied him and kneeled on his chest as \u200dhe shouted, \u201cI can\u2019t \u2064breathe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Youngkin\u2019s pardon stated that his\u200b office determined Smith committed no crime, and\u2064 called into\u2063 question the \u201cintegrity of the prosecution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>State Delegate Candi Mundon King, a black Democrat representing Stafford and Prince William Counties, said on X: \u201cDidn\u2019t law enforcement make\u200b these charges\u2026 Guess he doesn\u2019t \u2018Back \u2064the \u2062blue\u2019 as much as we thought.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biberaj ran on a platform lamenting \u201coverincarceration\u201d and has refused to prosecute \u2064many misdemeanors. Democrats, claiming to want to\u2063 stop people from being\u2062 arrested for minor crimes in\u200c schools, even passed a <a href=\"https:\/\/lis.virginia.gov\/cgi-bin\/legp604.exe?201+sum+HB257=\">law<\/a> that \u200d\u201cEliminates the requirement that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/virginia-dems-fight-repeal-of-bill-that-said-sex-crimes-in-schools-neednt-be-referred-to-police\/\" title=\"Virginia Dems Fight Repeal Of Bill That Said Sex Crimes In Schools Needn\u2019t Be Referred To Police\">school principals report<\/a>\u2062 to \u2062law enforcement certain enumerated acts that \u2064may constitute a misdemeanor offense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When it came to a parent\u2062 whose lived experience posed a threat\u200b to \u200dDemocrats\u2019 effort to \u200dpass a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oregon-middle-school-educators-fired-for-emailing-ben-shapiro\/\" title=\"Oregon Middle School Educators Fired For Emailing Ben Shapiro\">transgender bathroom policy<\/a>, however,\u200d Biberaj personally took Smith\u2019s case and \u200bsought jail time. He was denied a jury because it was a \u2063misdemeanor, and he was convicted. A judge threw out the resisting arrest charge after Smith appealed, and threw Biberaj off the \u200bcase for apparent conflict of \u200binterest.<\/p>\n<p>But the government kept fighting\u200d Smith, forcing him to head\u2063 towards a second trial for disorderly conduct. I \u200bthink he\u2062 was lucky he didn\u2019t get slapped.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith told The Daily Wire this week that Schworm\u2062 had just spoken with \u200bhis daughter, who was in line to speak into \u200da megaphone, before making a beeline over to him to \u200dsay she didn\u2019t believe her story and that she would destroy\u200b his plumbing \u200dbusiness by \u2062attacking it \u2063on social \u200bmedia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s obvious\u201d that Schworm\u200c \u2014 a \u2062member of a Facebook group called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/loudoun-teachers-target-parents-critical-race-theory-hacking\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cAnti-Racist Parents of Loudoun\u201d<\/a> alongside Biberaj, and whose members plotted\u200c to \u2062destroy anyone who posed an obstacle to the transgender agenda in schools \u2014 intended\u2064 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/glenn-youngkin-grants-absolute-pardon-to-loudoun-dad-arrested-at-school-board-meeting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prevent the daughter from telling her story<\/a> to the world, Smith \u200csaid.<\/p>\n<p>Her efforts were initially successful, with Smith\u2019s arrest being\u200c used by the Department of\u200c Justice and media organizations to paint conservatives \u200das a threat to school boards. The reason for his anger at the school board was unknown until The Daily \u200cWire revealed it five months \u2063later, after\u2064 the rapist attacked a second girl.\u200c The rapist was later convicted, but was not placed on the\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-lash-out-at-youngkin-for-pardoning-father-of-loudoun-rape-victim\/\" title=\"Democrats criticize Youngkin for pardoning father of Loudoun rape victim.\">registered sex offender list<\/a> because of an\u2062 error by Biberaj.<\/p>\n<p>Smith \u200btold The Daily Wire \u2064the pardon was necessary because there was \u2062no assurance of justice \u200c\u201canywhere in counties that are run by radical prosecutors.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Virginia Democrats and Loudoun County&#8217;s Soros-funded prosecutor, Buta Biberaj, are criticizing Gov.
