Wade<\/h2>\n<p>In an\u200c attempt to keep her position on abortion limits ambiguous, Vice President Kamala Harris conceded that she and the Biden administration don\u2019t want any\u2062 restrictions\u2064 on ending life in the\u2064 womb.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat is it that\u200c you\u2063 believe? I mean, what week of pregnancy should abortion access be cut off?\u201d CBS\u2019 Margaret Brennan asked during a Sunday exchange on \u200d\u201cFace The Nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harris, keeping in line with the \u2062White \u200bHouse\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/09\/26\/bidens-position-on-abortion-is-so-extreme-the-white-house-wont-even-say-it-out-loud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">repeated refusal<\/a> to admit that\u2064 it wants to\u2064 codify abortion through all \u200dnine months\u200c of pregnancy,\u2064 claimed the Democrat regime simply wants to \u201crestore the protections of <em>Roe [v.] Wade<\/em>\u201d using \u200dCongress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re not trying to do something new,\u201d Harris insisted, referring\u2064 to Democrats\u2019 ill-named \u2062\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/3755\/text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women\u2019s Health Protection \u2063Act<\/a>,\u201d \u200bwhich, if it hadn\u2019t\u200c failed to pass Congress last year, would have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/11\/bipartisan-majority-rejects-radical-abortion-bill-pushed-by-senate-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">codified abortion until birth<\/a> in every state.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p>\n      <span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n            <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VP?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@VP<\/a> Harris\u200c calls on Congress to codify the \u200c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dems-introduce-bill-to-fund-abortions-around-the-world-with-foreign-aid\/\" title=\"Dems Introduce Bill To Fund Abortions Around The World With Foreign Aid\">abortion rights protections<\/a> of Roe v. Wade, and does not say which week of pregnancy \u2062should be the cutoff for abortion access: \u200d&#8221;We\u2019re \u2062not trying\u200b to do\u200d anything that did not exist before June of last year.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/S5ANQLP5dh\">pic.twitter.com\/S5ANQLP5dh<\/a>\n          <\/p>\n<footer>\n            <cite><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FaceTheNation\/status\/1700885173988950108?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 10, 2023<\/a><\/cite><br \/>\n          <\/footer>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>      <\/span>\n    <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Brennan interrupted Harris to point out her answer was \u201cnebulous because \u200b [Roe] was\u200c about viability, \u200cwhich could be anywhere\u200c between \u206220 to 24\u2063 weeks.\u201d Harris \u2063denied \u200cthat claim.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, no, no, no, no. Let\u2063 me be very clear.\u2062 From day one, the president has been clear, I have been clear: we need \u200dto put back the protections that\u200c are <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> into law,\u201d Harris continued. \u201cSince the Supreme Court took it, Congress has \u200cthe power and ability to\u2062 pass\u200b legislation to put those protections back in law, and Joe\u2063 Biden will\u2063 sign that bill. So that is what we\u200c want.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Brennan pressed Harris on whether the legislation should be \u201cspecific\u201d about \u201cwhich week of\u2064 pregnancy\u201d should serve as\u2064 the cutoff for abortions,\u2064 Harris repeated her spiel about <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Brennan, clearly frustrated with Harris\u2019 refusal to answer\u200c a basic question, decided to pivot. Instead of\u2062 pointing out\u200c Harris\u2019 stubbornness or the fact that <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/14\/associated-press-poll-is-corporate-medias-latest-language-twisting-exercise-in-advancing-abortion-extremism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">most Americans<\/a> oppose Democrats\u2019 unlimited abortion for all agenda, the interviewer joined the VP in\u200c taunting Republicans for calling out Democrats\u2019 desire \u200cto legalize abortion until birth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m asking you for the specifics because Republicans\u200b say the lack\u2063 of a precise date \u200cin cutting it off \u2014 you know this \u2014 they say that allows Democrats to perform abortions up until birth, which\u200d is statistically \u2063not accurate,\u201d Brennan said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s ridiculous, and \u200bit\u2019s a mischaracterization of the point,\u201d\u200c Harris retorted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI understand that,\u201d Brennan replied.<\/p>\n<p>Brennan\u2019s sympathy is not only scornful, it\u2019s \u2064completely unfounded.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ICU1010\/status\/1694547123402879440?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1694547123402879440%7Ctwgr%5Ee72ca402f401166381d51a7250929052fe3368fe%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthefederalist.com%2F2023%2F08%2F24%2Fjen-psaki-says-no-one-supports-abortion-until-birth-but-she-and-other-democrats-support-exactly-that%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Democrats all across the nation<\/a> promote abortion until birth.\u200c Nearly a quarter of U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/worldpopulationreview.com\/state-rankings\/late-term-abortion-laws-by-state\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">states<\/a> have laws or constitutional amendments that guarantee abortions during any moment in pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>Even \u200cHarris is on record supporting \u200dlegislation that would have\u200c effectively allowed for the murder of unborn babies right before birth as long as a doctor claimed \u201ca risk to\u2063 [her] life or health\u201d \u2014 a wide-sweeping definition that could easily be twisted to accommodate a woman\u2019s \u200cdesire to abort for any reason.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p>\n      <span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\n            <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/VP?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@VP<\/a> Harris:\u2062 &#8220;With two more seats, we can codify Roe v. \u200cWade.\u2062 With two more seats, we can pass the Women&#8217;s Health Protection Act. She asked if Harris agreed with Democrats\u2019 standard deflection, \u201cAbortion should be a private matter between a woman and her doctor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs\u200b that what you\u200d believe as well?\u201d\u2063 Brennan \u200cprodded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that we should put the protections of <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> into law, and the way that will happen is if we have a United States Congress, who, regardless \u200dof their personal view for themselves or \u2063their family would agree that the women of \u2062America should be trusted to make \u200ddecisions about their life and their body based on what they know to be in their best \u2064interest. It\u2019s that simple,\u201d Harris said.<\/p>\n<p>When Brennan noted earlier in the \u200bsegment that Democrats in Congress \u200ccurrently don\u2019t have the votes to legalize abortion, Harris signaled that the Biden administration is relying on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kamala-harris-wont-say-which-abortion-limits-she-supports-because-democrats-dont-want-any\/\" title=\"Kamala Harris mum on abortion limits as Democrats oppose any.\">heavily funded ballot measure campaigns<\/a> in red states to execute its\u200b abortion agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s why we have elections.
