It found that $265 \u200bmillion of the money from the Wyss nonprofits went to Arabella Advisors, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-lawsuit-will-be-filed-today-against-mark-zuckerberg-and-the-dark-money-that-enabled-fraud-in-key-states-video\/\" title=\"NEW LAWSUIT Will Be Filed Today Against Mark Zuckerberg and the Dark Money that Enabled Fraud in Key States (VIDEO)\">dark money network<\/a> \u2062that supports liberal causes across the country.<\/p>\n<p>The new ad campaign, \u2064first viewed by The Daily Wire, will run across all social media platforms. The \u200cgoal of the campaign is to alert lawmakers, Capitol Hill staffers, and the media about the influence of Wyss, and urges legislative reform.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cForeign national Hansjorg Wyss is barred \u200dfrom \u2063influencing U.S. elections. That hasn\u2019t stopped\u2062 liberals from \u2063banking\u2064 on him for nearly $500 million to push for \u200dchanges to election laws, defunding the police, packing the \u200dSupreme \u2064Court, politicizing the classroom, \u200cand more,\u201d the campaign says.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The APT has called for an end to the law \u200bthat allows \u2063foreign nationals to give \u2063to 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations that can advocate for policy. \u2062The watchdog has sued\u200c the Federal Elections Commissions in an attempt to stop foreign money \u200bfrom going toward groups like Arabella\u200b Advisors. APT wants the law\u200c prohibiting foreign nationals from giving to political action committees or candidates to be expanded.<\/p>\n<p>Legislation has been introduced in Congress \u200dto stop the \u200bpractice\u200b and the House Ways and Means \u2064Committee has \u200bstarted looking into the \u201cpolitical activities\u201d \u2062of tax-exempt organizations.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOur leaders must \u2063pass legislation that outright bans foreign nationals from contributing to 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations. Foreign \u200bnationals should be prohibited from contributing to these conduits for electoral advocacy, \u2063just as they are prohibited from contributing to \u200dU.S. political campaigns.
