Newsom lifts Calif. lockdown orders amid mounting backlash\">recent interview<\/a> with \u200bHoward Kurtz on Fox News\u2019s \u201cMedia Buzz,\u201d\u2063 Christie\u2063 expressed his intention to follow Trump around the\u200b country if he continues\u2063 to skip the GOP primary debates.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about Trump&#8217;s decision to stay off the debate stage, Christie responded, \u201cWell, if \u200dhe doesn\u2019t \u200bdo any of the debates, Howie, you know, we\u2019re gonna give him another chance. I\u2019m sure he\u2019s not coming \u2064to the Reagan debate.\u200c We\u2019ll give him \u2063another chance in Alabama. But if he doesn\u2019t come there, then\u2064 I\u2019m \u2064going to follow \u200bhim around the country. Wherever he goes, I\u2019ll go. And \u2064we\u2019ll wind up talking to\u2064 each other \u200cone way or the \u2062other. And he \u2063knows that\u2019s\u2062 true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Christie&#8217;s\u2064 determination to confront Trump directly has caught attention.
