He has circulated a memo to House Democrats,\u200b combatting the investigations\u200d and\u200b possible impeachment inquiry.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Raskin Challenges House Republicans&#8217; Probe<\/h3>\n<p>In a 14-page memo obtained \u200bby the Washington Examiner, Raskin lays out his judgment of House Republicans&#8217; probe into Biden. He argues that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/san-francisco-public-schools-renaming-plan-rife-with-historical-errors\/\" title=\"San Francisco Public Schools Renaming Plan \u2018Rife With Historical Errors\u2019\">information gathered<\/a> by \u2064House Republicans does not \u2062demonstrate any wrongdoing\u200c by Biden. Instead, he suggests that it \u200dis an attempt to serve former President Donald Trump&#8217;s interests and divert attention from his legal troubles.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Impending Impeachment Inquiry<\/h2>\n<p>Raskin\u2062 pushes back against the impending impeachment inquiry into Biden in \u200cthe memo. Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) had previously stated that the House could \u2062open an\u200c impeachment inquiry into the president upon their return from the break. However, any impeachment inquiry\u200b would require a full House vote.<\/p>\n<p>The inquiry&#8217;s fate hinges, in part, on whether the Biden administration continues to withhold evidence requested \u200bby the committee, \u200baccording to \u200bMcCarthy.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Raskin Counters Allegations Against Biden<\/h3>\n<p>In\u2063 his memo, Raskin accuses\u2064 Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) of\u2064 misrepresenting and distorting \u2062a substantial body of evidence to make\u200b baseless and sensationalistic claims. This \u2064includes the allegation that Biden himself received money from foreign entities.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While\u200c Republicans on the committee, led by Comer, have uncovered extensive evidence of financial transactions involving Hunter Biden and other members of the Biden family with foreign oligarchs and companies during Joe Biden&#8217;s vice \u2062presidency, they have not proven that any of that money\u200c went to the president.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Raskin Dismisses Republican Investigation<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;House Republicans constantly insist that they are investigating President Biden, and\u2063 not his adult son,&#8221; the memo reads. &#8220;In that case, we can form an obvious judgment on their investigation: it has \u2062been \u200da complete and total bust\u2014an\u2064 epic flop in the\u200c history of congressional investigations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The memo goes on to state that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oversight-ranking-member-raskin-claims-gops-biden-investigation-is-a-total-bust\/\" title=\"Raskin, Oversight ranking member, deems GOP's Biden investigation a 'complete failure'.\">evidence gathered overwhelmingly demonstrates<\/a> \u200dno wrongdoing\u200d by President Biden and debunks\u2063 Republicans&#8217; conspiracy theories.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Testimony from Hunter Biden&#8217;s former business associate, Devon Archer, revealed that \u200cthen-Vice President Joe Biden had frequent \u2062communication with his son and business\u2062 associates over the course of a decade. Archer also testified that Hunter Biden used the &#8220;Biden brand&#8221; to attract \u2064foreign companies and oligarchs who believed it would grant them access\u2062 to his father. Additionally, it was uncovered that Joe \u200dBiden attended dinners\u200c with foreign oligarchs\u200d who had paid his son.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Republicans Accused of Distraction Tactics<\/h3>\n<p>Raskin suggests that House Republicans&#8217; focus on the Biden family and \u200btheir contemplation of an impeachment inquiry \u2064into the president are merely attempts to divert attention \u200bfrom Trump&#8217;s legal troubles. He argues that this is a transparent effort to boost Trump&#8217;s campaign\u200b by establishing a false moral equivalency between the two presidents.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Raskin quotes statements from Trump, where he demanded\u2064 that House Republicans investigate \u2062Joe Biden and impeach him.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Raskin&#8217;s claims, recent \u200dpolling indicates that the investigations and findings resonate with voters.
