Dianne Feinstein&#8217;s Resignation<\/h2>\n<p>In a recent interview with Chuck Todd on NBC News&#8217; &#8220;Meet The\u200d Press,&#8221; California Governor Gavin \u2063Newsom addressed the topic of 90-year-old Senator Dianne Feinstein&#8217;s ability to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/venezuelas-opposition-held-congress-extends-term-after-disputed-vote\/\" title=\"Venezuela\u2019s opposition-held Congress extends term after disputed vote\">continue serving<\/a> in her role. Despite her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rnc-chair-condemns-biden-abortion-policy\/\" title=\"RNC chair condemns Biden abortion policy\">health problems<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gavin-newsom-weighs-in-on-dianne-feinstein-not-stepping-down-i-leave-it-to-her\/\" title=\"Gavin Newsom on Dianne Feinstein: \"It's up to her.\"\">apparent limitations<\/a>, Newsom refrained from calling \u2062for her resignation.<\/p>\n<p>Todd questioned the governor about Feinstein&#8217;s daughter having power \u200cof attorney and the senator&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/judge-limits-some-durham-evidence-ahead-of-ex-clinton-lawyer-sussmann-trial\/\" title=\"Judge Limits Some Durham Evidence Ahead of Ex-Clinton Lawyer Sussmann Trial\">continued representation<\/a> of 40 million people.\u2063 Newsom responded, &#8220;Well, I leave \u200cit to her. \u2064I told you, I&#8217;m the most subjective human \u200cbeing \u2063in the world on this topic. I have\u200b no objectivity whatsoever.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Newsom went on to defend Feinstein, reminiscing about their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-has-yet-to-call-israels-netanyahu\/\" title=\"Biden Has Yet To Call Israel\u2019s Netanyahu\">long-standing relationship<\/a>. He \u200bshared, &#8220;I&#8217;ve known Dianne Feinstein since \u200bI was a kid. I interned with her in\u200d college.\u2064 I still have a signed \u2064book from my days when she was mayor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting Feinstein&#8217;s past involvement, Newsom mentioned how she used \u2064to read laws to \u200dhim regarding forest and vegetation management, as well as drought and water issues. He\u2063 emphasized \u2062that her staff is highly active and\u200b capable of fulfilling\u200d her duties.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Newsom expressed his reluctance to make another appointment\u200c for\u2064 a U.S. Senate seat in California, following Senator Kamala Harris&#8217;s departure to become vice\u200b president.
