The\u2062 officers approached the vehicle\u2064 around 12:45 a.m. and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/boy-16-wounded-in-arm-during-shooting-with-police-in-san-diego\/\" title=\"16-year-old boy injured in arm during police shooting in San Diego.\">noticed\u2063 alcoholic beverages inside<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics swiftly arrived at the scene\u200b and \u200drushed \u2062the injured teenager to \u200ca nearby hospital. Thankfully, his injuries \u200dwere not life-threatening, and he is expected to recover.<\/p>\n<h3>Confrontation Escalates<\/h3>\n<p>The situation \u2063took a\u200b dangerous turn when the 16-year-old exited the vehicle without \u2063being asked to do so. Allegedly, he\u2062 began reaching \u2063under the passenger seat, causing concern among the officers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Officers immediately ordered\u200c him to stop \u200breaching under the seat. The juvenile pulled a firearm from \u2064under the \u2062seat and turned in the \u200ddirection of\u200b one of the officers,&#8221; explained \u2064Lt. Campbell.\u200c &#8220;In response, one officer fired \u200da\u200d single shot\u200b from \u200dhis service \u200bweapon, striking\u200d the juvenile.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After being\u200b shot, the boy fled towards the ocean, either jumping or falling down a cliff. However, officers\u200d were able to apprehend\u200c him and take\u200d him \u2064into custody.
