The woman was\u2063 a victim of\u2063 the communist\u200c regime\u2019s forced \u2062organ harvesting and perished not long after\u2062 her conversation with the doctor, according to the whistleblower.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2063April 2019, Zhang Xiuqin, 46, briefly survived an operation to remove one of her kidneys and relayed her \u2063experience \u2062to a doctor at a \u2062key military hospital in Harbin, the capital of China\u2019s northernmost province Heilongjiang.<\/p>\n<p>The whistleblower doctor, \u200bwho is \u2063unnamed to protect her safety, provided a video recording of this conversation to the\u200b World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong\u2064 (WOIPFG), a New York-based nonprofit dedicated to tracking the regime\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-perry-designate-ccp-a-transnational-criminal-organization\/\" title=\"Rep. Perry: Designate CCP a Transnational Criminal Organization\">forced organ harvesting<\/a> abuse. Only one\u2063 of\u2063 her kidneys was harvested. Ms. Zhang, the doctor believed, had likely suffered from severe abuses that \u200bbattered most of\u2064 her organs including her liver, rendering them unfit for transplant.<\/p>\n<p>Hours after the testimony\u2019s release, WOIPFG suffered its most severe\u2062 cyberattack to date over its two decades of existence.<\/p>\n<p>Falun Gong, a\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/us-website-hit-with-cyberattacks-after-releasing-testimony-on-ccps-forced-organ-harvesting\/\" title=\"US website targeted by cyberattacks after publishing testimony on CCP's forced organ harvesting.\">spiritual practice involving moral teachings centered<\/a> \u2062on \u200bthe values of truthfulness, compassion,\u200d and tolerance, as well \u2062as meditative exercises, has been the target of a \u2062bloody persecution\u200b perpetuated by the\u2063 Chinese Communist Party for the past 24 years.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">An independent tribunal in 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/us\/unmatched-wickedness-in-china-needs-actions-from-all-nations-says-human-rights-group-3006524\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">concluded<\/a> \u2063 that the faith\u2019s \u2063adherents\u2062 were the principal source for the regime\u2019s\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/select-committee-on-the-ccp-hears-abuse-of-uyghurs-in-chinas-re-education-camps\/\" title=\"Select Committee on the CCP Hears Abuse of Uyghurs in China\u2019s \u2018Re-Education\u2019 Camps\">state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting<\/a>, a practice that occurs on a \u201csignificant scale.\u201d<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin-left:0;margin-right:0;max-width:1200px\">\n<figure style=\"width:640px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"alignnone\"><figcaption>This file photo\u2063 shows a re-enactment\u2064 of forced \u200dorgan harvesting in China on Falun \u200bGong adherents during a rally in Ottawa, Canada,\u2064 in 2008.\u200d (The Epoch Times)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>The denial of service attack \u2062sporadically shut down the organization\u2019s website for an entire week. This \u2063sustained attack \u2064revealed the amount of resources the communist regime was willing\u2064 to deploy to silence the issue, said WOIPFG\u2019s lead\u2063 researcher Dr. Wang Zhiyuan.<\/p>\n<p>Beijing authorities had reacted quickly, Dr. Wang learned from \u200bhis \u2062contact in\u2062 China.<\/p>\n<p>On the night of the testimony\u2019s release, \u200bwhich was daytime in \u2064Beijing, the Ministry of Public Security, China\u2019s top police authority, ordered\u200b its bureau in Heilongjiang, the\u200d region where the military hospital is located, to probe \u200cthe \u2063matter, Dr. Wang was told by his source. \u200cThe \u2063head office would also send \u2063someone over to Harbin\u200c city to receive the report.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were definitely afraid,\u201d Dr. Wang \u200dtold The Epoch Times. \u201cJust think about how fast they reacted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they didn\u2019t\u200c do anything wrong, why so agitated? They could have used the \u2063media as an outlet to attack us and put the matter to an end. But they dared \u2062not breathe \u200ba word in public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. \u2063Torsten Trey, executive director of the Washington-based \u200dmedical ethics advocacy group, Doctors Against\u200b Forced Organ Harvesting, saw\u2063 the matter in \u2064the same light.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-left:0;margin-right:0;max-width:1200px\">\n<figure style=\"width:640px;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto\" class=\"alignnone\"><figcaption>Caption: Dr. Torsten \u2062Trey, \u2064co-founder \u200band executive director of the nonprofit Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, in Texas on Nov. \u200c18, 2022. In \u2064a commercial\u200b setting, it is about financial gains or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/senior-partners-at-firm-hired-to-review-lincoln-project-scandal-have-donated-thousands-to-group\/\" title=\"Senior Partners at Firm Hired to \u2018Review\u2019 Lincoln Project Scandal Have Donated Thousands to Group\">intellectual property theft<\/a>. None of the above would apply,\u201d he told The Epoch Times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you follow the \u200cquestion why they \u2062were hacked, you come to \u200dthe conclusion that the news about the \u2064forced organ harvesting case in\u2064 the Chinese hospital must be correct. The hacking attack indicates that the video recording is authentic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr.\u200b Trey further noted\u200d that WOIPFG has withheld the \u200dvideo recording over concerns of the\u2064 provider\u2019s safety. The unreleased video, he \u2064suggested, may have been another incentive for the hacking operation \u201cas the hackers might want to prevent the\u200c release or do damage control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To \u201cblock, cover up, \u200band play down\u201d any information \u200crelated to forced\u2063 organ harvesting\u2014this has been the strategy of the Chinese\u200b Communist Party\u200b (CCP) since the first allegations came to light nearly two decades ago, \u2062Dr. Wang said.<\/p>\n<p>Although there have been\u2064 two notable \u200dexceptions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">In early 2006, witnesses went public to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/article\/witness-reveals-horrors-of-sujiatun-concentration-camp-1727413\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reveal<\/a> \u200c horrors\u200d inside northeast China\u2019s Sujiatun concentration camp, saying authorities were secretly harvesting organs from detained Falun Gong practitioners.
