For every \u2062razed structure, five new ones \u2062take \u200cits place.<\/p>\n<p>That Palestinians are legally permitted \u200bto \u200bbring grievances \u2062against COGAT to Israel\u2019s Supreme Court further undermines enforcement. Both foreign and Israeli NGOs receive millions of euros every year to \u201cprotect\u201d\u2064 the Palestinians in the\u200d court system, which is backed up with appeals.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, the Palestinians\u2063 build and build, engaging \u2064in a brilliant\u2064 strategy of setting Israel\u2019s own system against\u200b itself.<\/p>\n<p>While COGAT generals have a diverse array of personal views about\u2062 the conflict,\u2063 the \u200dIsrael Defense Forces tend to be conformist and technically oriented, concerned with tactical training,\u2063 readiness and counterterrorism, and focused on\u200d immediate, critical threats from Lebanon, \u200bGaza and Iran. The defense establishment \u2064views the West \u200cBank as a political dispute\u200b as opposed to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/not-making-headlines-more-information-on-chinas-involvement-in-the-2020-election-steal\/\" title=\"NOT MAKING HEADLINES: More Information on China\u2019s Involvement In the 2020 Election Steal\">national security issue<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But COGAT is well aware \u2063of the scope\u2063 of the hostile takeover in Area\u200c C and is choosing not\u200b to enforce its legal mandate. Due \u2064to intense pressure from the EU, COGAT generals routinely \u2062speak with Palestinian Authority officials and work\u2064 out\u200d agreements to \u200crefrain from demolishing infrastructure unveiled in Salim Fayyad\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/op-ed-not-secret-conspiracy-eu-encourages-palestinians-violate-international-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">master plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While\u200c COGAT does <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/op-ed-the-palestinians-set-israels-own-system-against-itself\/\" title=\"Op-Ed: Palestinians Turn Israel's System Against It\">occasionally destroy unauthorized structures deemed<\/a> to be dangerous from a security or \u200csafety point of view, such as those built \u200bclose to IDF training or firing zones, \u2062on \u200dmajor traffic arteries, or those that were used as launching \u2062pads \u2063for terrorists, these demolitions are exceedingly rare, and \u2062almost always receive massive media coverage and condemnation.<\/p>\n<p>Through a Supreme Court case,\u2063 Regavim, an Israeli \u2064NGO, succeeded in forcing COGAT to\u200b reveal its list of\u2063 established enforcement priorities. At the \u2063top of the list was prevention of Jewish construction on privately owned or state land, while\u2062 at the \u200bvery bottom \u200cof the list were PA-EU <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/op-ed-funded-eu-palestinians-abuse-environment-erase-jewish-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">orchestrated takeovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, Israel\u2019s \u200cDefense Ministry was forced to\u2063 admit by court order that its enforcement guidelines for land use policy were tilted\u2062 against Jews and in\u200c favor \u200dof Arabs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey let the Palestinians do things\u200b they\u2019d never think about allowing Jewish\u200c people to do,\u201d\u2063 alleges Dr. Yishai Spivak, an investigative researcher with Ad Kan,\u200b an Israeli\u200d nonprofit that studies organizations and trends that harm Israel\u2019s sovereignty and Zionist identity.<\/p>\n<p>In\u2064 addition, the PA\u2064 never reports deaths in or emigration \u2064from Area C and pads the population statistics\u2064 with people \u2063who have never\u2062 set foot in the\u200c Middle East \u2014 for instance, children who \u200dwere actually born and raised abroad but had parents who once lived in the region. This serves the goal of portraying the area as\u2064 flooded \u200bwith Arabs.<\/p>\n<p>But a far more\u200c serious \u2064problem may be that the\u2063 PA actively and publicly encourages residents of Areas \u2063A and B to move into Area C, which is possibly a violation of the \u200bGeneva Accords.
