The \u200cstolen body\u200c parts were taken from \u200dHarvard Medical School and\u2064 an\u200c Arkansas mortuary.<\/p>\n<p>Jeremy \u2063Pauley, a 41-year-old resident of Thompson, admitted\u200b his\u200d guilt on Thursday. Trials are still pending \u2063for the other defendants, including Cedric Lodge, a 55-year-old from Goffstown, \u200bNew Hampshire.\u200b Lodge is accused of stealing dissected portions of cadavers that were donated to\u2062 Harvard\u200d Medical \u2062School. This scheme took \u200dplace between 2018 and early 2023. The authorities have stated that \u200dthe body parts were taken without the \u200bschool&#8217;s knowledge or \u200dpermission. However, the school has been cooperative throughout\u200d the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>According to allegations, Lodge would sometimes take the stolen body parts, which included \u2063heads, brains, skin, and bones, back to his home.\u200b Additionally, some remains were sent\u200d to buyers through the mail. Lodge&#8217;s wife, Denise, \u200baged 63, is also \u200bfacing charges in connection with this case.<\/p>\n<p>During\u200d their initial court appearance in June, both Lodge and his wife declined to comment on the charges \u2064brought\u200c against them.<\/p>\n<p>Bodies donated to Harvard Medical\u2062 School are typically used for educational, teaching,\u200b or research \u200dpurposes.
