Owens was \u2063also joined by big names such \u2063as conservative commentators \u200bJack Posobiec and Brandon Tatum, satire \u200bsite The Babylon Bee, and former prosecutor Jim Clemente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The new 10-part series unveils the shocking truth behind one of the\u200d most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/first-episode-of-candace-owens-true-crime-series-convicting-a-murderer-will-stream-for-free-on-x\/\" title=\"Candace Owens' crime series 'Convicting A Murderer' premieres on X, available for free streaming.\">controversial criminal cases<\/a> in\u2062 recent history. He said one of the things that first raised\u2062 his antennae that \u200dsomething might not be right with the\u200c narrative\u2064 he was being given was when \u201cAvery admitted to something involving burning a cat.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThey glossed over it,\u201d he added. \u201cThey made it kind of sound \u200blike he did it by accident \u200b\u2026 and that whole story to me made\u2064 no sense at all. So, that was\u200d the first thing I thought, well, if \u2063you know anything \u2064about psychopathic killers, they very often have animal abuse and \u2064animal torture in their background.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O\u2019Donnell, the \u200dhost of \u201cThe Dan O\u2019Donnell Show,\u201d said he got involved in the story first covering the real-life Avery murder trial in 2007 and later \u200bafter watching \u201cMaking a Murderer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">O\u2019Donnell, who also appears in \u201cConvicting a Murderer,\u201d told Owens that when he\u200c first saw the first two episodes of the Netflix series, his \u201cjaw hit the floor\u201d because none of what he was being told on the series, \u200bhe said, was \u201clining up with \u2064what I remembered to be reality\u201d from\u2062 the case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWhat Netflix was\u200b presenting was so far outfield from what I covered, the evidence \u200dI actually saw, that I actually\u200b sat down \u2026 probably two\u2064 weeks after the \u2063show premiered, and did a podcast, episode by episode, much like \u200b\u2018Convicting a\u200d Murderer,&#8217;\u201d O\u2019Donnell said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Speaking earlier\u200d to Daily Wire podcast host\u200d Michael Knowles, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/how-far-the-media-will-go-to-sell-you-an-idea-candace-owens-tells-michael-knowles-viewers-will-be-shocked-by-what-they-learn-in-convicting-a-murderer\">Owens<\/a> said the Netflix documentary makers \u201cknew that they could just manipulate people\u2019s emotions\u201d and \u201cmake them think\u200c that \u200dAvery,\u201d who she said is a \u201cvery aggressive person,\u201d could \u201cpotentially be\u200c an angel.\u201d She said viewers are \u200cgoing to be \u200b\u201cshocked\u201d at \u201chow far the media will go\u2062 to sell you an idea\u201d\u200d and how often they \u201comit the facts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">DailyWire+ will stream the first two episodes of \u201cConvicting a Murderer\u201d for free\u200b on the platform on Friday with early access for members having begun on Thursday.
