They were concerned, as you might imagine, \u2063about the \u2062financial ramifications \u200dof the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-57-feminists-forced-abortion-on-america\/\" title=\"How 57 Feminists Forced Abortion On America\">modern feminist movement<\/a>. So they sent an analysis to their corporate clients looking into the economic impact of this new wave of feminism that was overtaking the country. Here was their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-google-ceo-helped-write-ai-laws-in-washington-without-disclosing-investments-in-ai-startups\/\" title=\"Former Google CEO Helped Write AI Laws in Washington Without Disclosing Investments in AI Startups\">top-line conclusion<\/a>: \u201cBy 2030,\u201d Morgan Stanley wrote, \u201cmore than 45 percent of \u200cworking women aged 25 to 44 in \u2064the United States will be \u2063single.\u201d If that prediction holds,\u2063 it would be the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2019\/08\/29\/economy\/single-women-economy\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highest percentage<\/a> of single working-age women in this country\u2019s history.<\/p>\n<h3>The Economic Impacts<\/h3>\n<p>The economic impacts, Morgan Stanley predicted, \u2062would be significant. \u2062Morgan Stanley <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morganstanley.com\/ideas\/womens-impact-on-the-economy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">quoted<\/a> one \u2063researcher as saying: \u201cWe find\u2064 that \u2063single women outspend the average household, shifting spending\u200d profiles toward categories most \u200dpoised \u200bto \u2063benefit from the\u200c demographic growth in single women with\u200b rising incomes.\u201d Those categories include apparel,\u2062 automotive, entertainment, and dining.<\/p>\n<p>Like most research that consultants charge millions\u2064 of dollars to produce, none of that\u2019s terribly surprising. When\u2062 women don\u2019t get married, \u2063they \u200dtend to climb the \u200bcorporate ladder, where they earn\u200c money\u200b that they don\u2019t have to spend on kids. But there is one line of the Morgan Stanley report that stands out. \u200cIt\u2019s the part where Morgan Stanley specifically urges its corporate clients to\u200b encourage women to pursue \u2062this \u200cunmarried lifestyle because it will make the corporations a lot of money. \u201cFor corporates and investors that embrace these trends, \u2064there \u2062are numerous benefits, from more nuanced corporate governance\u200c and performance to bottom-line growth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Morgan Stanley report, \u2062and several\u2064 others like it, put all the\u2063 big brands on notice \u200bthat they should take a proactive role in ensuring\u200c that more women become career-driven,\u2064 instead of getting \u200dmarried and \u2064having\u2064 kids. And predictably, over the past few \u2063years, we\u2019ve seen\u2063 various initiatives along these lines. Facebook, Apple and\u2064 other big tech companies \u200cbegan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/technology\/2014\/oct\/15\/apple-facebook-offer-freeze-eggs-female-employees\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">offering<\/a> \u2062 to freeze the eggs\u2063 of female employees. That\u2019s not for any medical reason; they\u2019re offering it purely so that women don\u2019t get pregnant and take maternity leave.\u2062 Many companies have also started <a href=\"https:\/\/katiecouric.com\/news\/major-u-s-companies-covering-abortion-travel-costs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">paying<\/a> for out-of-state abortions. \u200cThat\u2019s all been widely reported.<\/p>\n<p>What hasn\u2019t been \u200bcovered is the extent to which influencers and celebrities \u2014 most of them \u2063beholden to large corporations \u2014 are\u2063 now openly\u200b campaigning, all at once, for women to remain single, or to become single again if they\u2064 made the mistake of getting married. \u2064You can choose to believe this \u2064is all an accident, \u2062or maybe you\u2062 think\u200c it\u2019s coordinated. Whatever \u200cthe case, it\u2019s clearly happening. There have never been more famous people telling young women to stop making \u2064commitments to men. You may have seen this recent video from the actress and model Emily Ratajkowski, for example. She has around 2.6 million followers on TikTok,\u2062 where she posts videos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@emrata\/video\/7199679187463032107\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">telling<\/a> random couples\u2063 that their relationships won\u2019t last, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@emrata\/video\/7160115132058602798\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">encouraging<\/a> women to dress like\u2062 prostitutes on Halloween. In her latest video, Ratajkowski extols the benefits of getting divorced by the \u200bage of 30, so that women can party \u2063and have fun while they\u2019re still young and beautiful:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@emrata\/video\/7275780895607491882\" data-video-id=\"7275780895607491882\" data-embed-from=\"oembed\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px\">\n<section>\n    <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@emrata\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@emrata?refer=embed\" rel=\"noopener\">@emrata<\/a><br \/>\n  <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The caption on that video reads, \u201cpersonally i find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30.\u201d \u2063It\u2019s extremely popular on the platform; more than 130,000 people have \u2062liked it.\u2063 This video appears to be a message of support for \u2063Sophie Turner, who I didn\u2019t know existed, but apparently is a famous\u2063 actress who is now getting divorced from one of \u2062the Jonas brothers because she felt \u201ctrapped\u201d by marriage \u2062and motherhood and wanted to go \u2064party instead.<\/p>\n<p>What Emily and Sophie are doing \u2014 getting divorced in a very public fashion, for avowedly selfish reasons \u2014 \u200cfollows a pattern recently of famous women\u2062 advising other women to either stay single and childless or get divorced, tear their families apart, and act like they\u2019re childless even if they have children.<\/p>\n<p>Mia Khalifa was another one, \u200bas shocking as it was\u2064 to hear bad relationship advice from a porn star. Here\u2019s how Mia spoke\u2064 to\u200b her 37 million followers about the importance of getting divorced \u2014 multiple times, if possible:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@miakhalifa\/video\/7262135829320125742\" data-video-id=\"7262135829320125742\" data-embed-from=\"oembed\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px\">\n<section>\n    <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@miakhalifa\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@miakhalifa?refer=embed\" rel=\"noopener\">@miakhalifa<\/a><br \/>\n  <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At \u2064this point you\u2019re probably noticing a theme, which is\u200b that none of these women display even a \u2063modicum of interest in sacrificing anything to make their relationships \u2014 their marriages, in \u200dmany cases \u2014 work out. Instead they\u2019re adopting, without\u2062 exception, what psychologists call an external \u201clocus of control.\u201d Everything that\u200b happens to their relationship is someone else\u2019s fault. It can\u2019t\u2063 possibly be related to them. \u200cThey \u2064can\u2019t conceivably do anything that might salvage their marriage. So they move on. Not to belabor the point, but this is the message that young people are seeing all over the place.<\/p>\n<p>To give one more example, there was also the country star Kelsea Ballerini who talked about leaving her marriage because the\u200c \u201cglitter wore off\u201d and it would be a \u201cdisservice to \u200bherself\u201d to \u200bstay in the marriage. Here it is:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@kelseaballerini\/video\/7275780895607491882\" data-video-id=\"7275780895607491882\" data-embed-from=\"oembed\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px\">\n<section>\n    <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@kelseaballerini\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@kelseaballerini?refer=embed\" rel=\"noopener\">@kelseaballerini<\/a><br \/>\n  <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If there\u2019s not \u200cenough \u201cglitter,\u201d just bail, go party. Whatever you do, don\u2019t\u200b think about putting in any\u200c kind of effort. Hollywood \u200band the\u200b media have been pushing this message \u2063for a long time. They\u2019re doing it with maximum intensity. That\u2019s why \u200cI\u2019ve been talking about the insane levels of\u200b backlash I\u2019ve received for criticizing \u200ban \u2062influencer who promoted the \u201cchildfree\u201d lifestyle as a path to happiness. It was a\u2062 relentless barrage of\u200c media coverage,\u200b all over one tweet I made on the subject. That\u2019s because they\u2019re very invested in promoting \u2062this lifestyle, which\u200b means\u200b that anyone who\u2064 criticizes it must be furiously dogpiled \u200band shut down.<\/p>\n<p>The point is that there\u2019s a large-scale\u2062 effort underway to convince young people \u2014 especially young women, but not just young women \u2014 to be as\u2063 shallow and selfish\u2062 as \u2064possible, even if it means abandoning\u200c their marriages and wrecking their families. Lots of wealthy people and powerful forces are invested in pushing this message.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the \u200cgovernment is \u2064pursuing it as well. The\u200d National Bureau\u2062 of \u200dEconomic Research <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nber.org\/system\/files\/working_papers\/w30159\/w30159.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">crunched<\/a> \u2063the numbers on this \u200blast year. They looked at federal and state taxes, along\u200d with benefit programs. And found that, in effect, there\u2019s a massive \u201cmarriage tax\u201d in this country. People who decide to get married, especially low-income\u200b people, end up sacrificing roughly two years of income to the government\u200c simply because they got \u2062married. The researchers found that, \u201cAbsent\u2063 the tax, 13.7 percent more low-income, single females with children would marry annually and 7.5 percent more would \u2062be married by age 35.\u201d The researchers also found that the Affordable Care Act \u2014 Obamacare \u2014 imposes a \u201csubstantial\u200c marriage \u200btax,\u201d because people who get \u2062married stand to lose a lot \u200cof subsidies under that law.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2064 never hear anyone talk about \u200bthat, but it\u2019s true. The government is punishing people who \u2062want to get married, especially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/economists-push-for-another-round-of-stimulus-checks\/\" title=\"Economists Push for Another Round of Stimulus Checks\">low-income people<\/a>. That\u2019s a \u200dlegacy of Barack Obama that\u2019s never mentioned. And of\u2062 course the current administration is continuing what Obama\u2062 started. Last year, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen,\u200c testified that abortion is good\u2063 for the economy, because it means more women are working for\u200b large corporations, instead of getting married and raising kids:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@janetyellen\/video\/7275780895607491882\" data-video-id=\"7275780895607491882\" data-embed-from=\"oembed\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px\">\n<section>\n    <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@janetyellen\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@janetyellen?refer=embed\" rel=\"noopener\">@janetyellen<\/a><br \/>\n  <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Abortion leads to \u201cincreased labor force \u200cparticipation,\u201d\u200d therefore it\u2019s good. Put aside the fact that \u200caborting tens of millions of children certainly shrinks the\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/obamas-clintons-didnt-have-porn-in-their-kids-school-libraries-but-they-want-that-for-your-child\/\" title=\"Obamas, Clintons didn't have porn in kids' libraries, but they support it for your child.\">labor \u2064force<\/a> over time \u2014\u200c not to mention amounts to a holocaust of human beings\u2062 on a scale previously unknown to mankind. Still, \u2062that\u2019s the treasury secretary of the United\u2062 States saying \u200dthat women should kill their children and pursue a career \u2063at some\u2064 soulless Fortune 500 company because, in her estimation, it will boost the\u2063 GDP.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s\u2062 no doubt that some of the videos we began the show with are just women\u200b who\u2063 are rationalizing their own self-destructive choices. But \u200bit\u2019s a mistake to dismiss what we\u2019re seeing as\u200b the idle narcissism \u2062of a few famous ditzy women on TikTok. There are forces that profit immensely by creating\u200c a society full of self-centered automatons \u2064who seek connection and\u2063 fulfillment\u2063 from pop culture and social media rather than family life. These\u2062 forces include Morgan Stanley\u2019s\u200b clients as \u2063well as the federal government.<\/p>\n<p>What are the consequences for regular \u2064Americans?\u200c For women, it\u2019s not great. \u2062And it used to be that you could say this publicly.\u2064 It \u200cused to be conventional wisdom\u200b that it\u2019s bad to encourage most women to be single. This is a \u2062Harvard Business Review <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2002\/04\/executive-women-and-the-myth-of-having-it-all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">analysis<\/a> from 2002: \u201cAt midlife, between a third and\u200b a\u2064 half of all successful career women \u2063in the \u2063United States do not have\u200c children. \u2062In fact, 33% of such women\u200b \u2026 in \u200dthe 41-to-55 age bracket are childless\u2014and \u2063that figure rises to 42% in corporate \u2062America. \u200bThese women have not chosen to remain childless. The vast majority, in \u200bfact, yearn\u200d for children. Indeed, some have gone to extraordinary lengths to bring a baby into\u200c their lives. They subject\u200c themselves to complex medical procedures,\u2062 shell out tens of \u2063thousands of dollars, and derail their careers\u2014mostly to no avail, because these efforts \u2064come \u200ctoo late. In the words of one senior manager, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-the-most-powerful-forces-in-society-want-you-to-be-single-childless-and-selfish\/\" title=\"Why Society's Powerful Forces Encourage Singleness, Childlessness, and Selfishness\">typical \u2063high-achieving woman childless<\/a> \u200dat \u200cmidlife has not made a choice but a \u2018creeping non-choice.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Two decades later, that \u201ccreeping \u2063non-choice\u201d has been rebranded\u2062 as a positive. You could never get any article\u2064 remotely like that one published in the Harvard \u2063Business Review today. As disastrous \u2063as \u2063this transformation has \u2062been for women\u2019s happiness and fulfillment, it\u2019s\u2064 probably even worse for men. As we\u2019ve \u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/traditional-masculinity-is-the-solution-to-the-male-loneliness-epidemic-not-the-cause\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">discussed<\/a> on this\u200c show,\u200b men\u2063 are now using \u200dmore drugs, and killing\u2062 themselves, more than they ever have in recorded \u2064history \u2014 and at rates that \u200cfar exceed women. We shouldn\u2019t be surprised by \u2064that.\u200c When all of society reorients to promote girl bosses and to \u200ddemean the institution \u2064of marriage, yes, women make more money in the\u2063 short-term. Men also have fewer opportunities to start families, and have fewer opportunities to make a living.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2062polite company \u2064you\u2019re \u200bnot supposed \u2064to say any of that. You\u2019re not supposed\u200b to think about the ramifications of the social engineering that\u2019s underway in this country. But whether it\u2019s acceptable or not to point it\u2063 out, \u2064none of this is \u2062an accident.\u2063 From every angle, women \u2062are being \u2062told that\u200d the key to happiness\u200b is being narcissistic and abandoning marriage. At the\u200c same time, men are\u2062 being told\u200b that, simply by virtue of their \u2062gender, they\u2019re\u200c members of a patriarchy that needs to be destroyed. That is a destructive combination if there ever was one.<\/p>\n<p>In both cases \u2014 for men and women \u2014 the power centers \u2062are\u200d saying, essentially, \u201cyou\u2019re just a\u200b passive\u200d observer.\u201d Women are being told that, if their marriage isn\u2019t appealing, then they don\u2019t have to do anything about it. They should just leave. Men\u200c are being \u2064told that, no matter what they do, they\u2019re sexist bigots. This \u2063passive approach, this total denial of personal responsibility, is unsustainable. As we\u2019re seeing, again \u200cand again,\u200b no marriage can survive \u200bit.
