Miller experienced &#8220;chronic\u200c and severe post-Gardasil \u200bsymptoms&#8221; after taking Merck&#8217;s \u200dHPV vaccine. She has been diagnosed with \u200bvarious medical conditions, including autoimmune hypothyroidism, polycystic ovarian\u2063 syndrome (PCOS), brain\u2063 cavernoma, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/san-francisco-poop-testing-startup-charged-with-fraud-likened-to-theranos\/\" title=\"San Francisco Poop-Testing Startup Charged With Fraud, Likened To Theranos\">irritable bowel syndrome<\/a> (IBS).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The lawsuit, which was\u200c filed on September 1 in the\u200b Western District of North Carolina,\u2063 is one of around 100 similar claims against Merck. She\u2064 and her mother made the\u2064 decision to vaccinate based on Merck&#8217;s marketing claims that Gardasil is \u200csafe and prevents cancer.<\/p>\n<p>However, after the third vaccine, Ms. Miller began experiencing a range of symptoms, including abdominal issues, trouble focusing, \u2062extreme fatigue, and missed\u200c menstrual\u2062 cycles.\u2062 These symptoms \u200cprogressively worsened\u200d over time, impacting her academic\u200d performance and ability to engage in normal activities.<\/p>\n<div class=\"shortcode post-related-videos\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The lawsuit alleges that \u2062prior to receiving the Gardasil vaccine, Ms. Miller and her parents were not informed of several important facts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gardasil is linked \u2064to serious adverse events,\u2063 including autoimmune injuries, increased cancer risk, and death.<\/li>\n<li>Merck \u2062did\u2063 not conduct proper testing to \u2062demonstrate the vaccine&#8217;s safety and efficacy.<\/li>\n<li>Merck manipulated clinical studies to\u200c hide the adverse\u2063 effects of Gardasil.<\/li>\n<li>Clinical trials did not \u200bprove that Gardasil can prevent cervical or anal cancer, despite Merck&#8217;s promotional claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The lawsuit states,\u200b &#8220;Merck&#8217;s representations were false, \u200cbecause in truth,\u2062 Gardasil has not been \u2064proven to prevent cervical or anal cancer and is\u200c associated with a myriad of dangerous \u2064and undisclosed risks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ms. \u2062Miller is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gay-employee-hits-disney-with-anti-discrimination-suit-at-start-of-pride-month\/\" title=\"Gay Employee Hits Disney with Anti-Discrimination Suit at Start of Pride Month  \u00a0\">seeking compensatory damages<\/a> and other relief \u200cfor the serious medical issues she believes\u200c were \u2063caused by the\u2064 Gardasil injections. The lawsuit charges \u200bMerck with negligence, \u2064failure to warn, manufacturing defect, breach\u200d of express warranty, and common law fraud.<\/p>\n<h2>Allegations Against Merck and CDC\u2064 Stance<\/h2>\n<p>The \u200clawsuit \u2063highlights that the target population for Gardasil, teenagers, has an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/desantis-fights-back-will-sign-order-protecting-rights-of-parents-on-masks-for-children\/\" title=\"DeSantis Fights Back, Will Sign Order Protecting Rights Of Parents On Masks For Children\">extremely low risk<\/a> of dying from cervical or anal cancer. The company influenced the votes of regulatory committees to secure licenses and recommendations for widespread vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>According\u2062 to the lawsuit, the\u200c then-director of \u2064the CDC, Julie Gerberding, \u2063played\u2062 a role in pushing through the\u200d regulatory process for \u2064Gardasil despite evidence of\u2063 its unproven efficacy and potential dangers.
