Media Tries To Frame Him As Victim\">grand jury<\/a> recommended face charges<\/a>, according to its final report.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cSpecial Purpose Grand Jury Report\u201d was released \u2062Friday in accordance\u200b with an order last week by \u2063Fulton County \u2064Superior Court Judge Robert \u2062McBurney to which neither side in the case apparently objected.<\/p>\n<p>The report recommended charges against \u206220 individuals in addition to those indicted by prosecutors on August 14.<\/p>\n<p>Among\u2063 those not charged were then-Sens.\u200c Kelly Loeffler \u2063and David \u200bPerdue of Georgia and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/lindsey-graham-literally-bets-trump-win-2024-clash-al-franken\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lindsey Graham<\/a> of South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Loeffler and Perdue, both \u2062Republicans, lost their re-election bids to Democratic challengers in runoff elections in \u200bJanuary\u200b of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Others recommended for charges \u200bin the \u200cDec. 15 report from the grand jury were Trump lawyers \u2063Boris Epshteyn, Cleta Mitchell and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/attorney-lin-wood-preattorney-lin-wood-predicts-coward-pence-will-arrested-treason-face-firing-squaddicts-coward-pence-will-arrested-treason-face-firing-squad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lin Wood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/gen-flynn-exclusive-not-going-win-2024-next-2-years-will-worst-yet-still-chance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Flynn<\/a>, who \u200dserved briefly as Trump\u2019s national security adviser, was\u200b also \u2063recommended \u200dfor charges.<\/p>\n<p>One man, Trump campaign aide \u2062Michael Roman, was charged in August but not named in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trumps-petition-to-quash-fulton-county-report-on-2020-election-denied-by-georgias-supreme-court\/\" title=\"Georgia's Supreme Court denies Trump's request to dismiss Fulton County's 2020 election report.\">grand \u2062jury report<\/a>. He was presumably charged as a result of Fulton County District \u200dAttorney Fani Willis\u2019\u2064 own investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The report had\u2064 been kept secret since then at Willis\u2019 request until final decisions were made about whom to charge and with what crimes. Those decisions having been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-now-faces-712-5-years-prison-latest-indictment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">made public last month<\/a>, the judge ruled that there was no longer any reason to keep the report secret.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-member grand jury heard from 75 witnesses \u2063over the course of its seven-month investigation. He, and all 18 of his co-defendants, have pleaded not guilty \u200cto all the charges against them, and Trump has repeatedly characterized himself as a victim of political\u2064 persecution.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2023\/08\/14\/trump-georgia-indictment-televised-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axios<\/a>, the Georgia trial could\u2062 be the only one viewable on live television because of the state\u2019s law.
