The \u2062study, which spanned six months, involved equipping buses and trains with \u2063air monitors to measure \u2064the presence of fentanyl and methamphetamine on transit lines.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 findings were alarming. Methamphetamine was detected on a staggering 98% of surface samples and \u2063100% of air samples. Fentanyl,\u200d another dangerous substance, was\u200b found \u2064in 46% of surface samples and 25% of \u2064air samples.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>Perspective on the Data<\/h3>\n<p>While these\u2062 results \u200bmay initially cause \u200balarm, it is important to put them into perspective. The Oregon and Washington Poison Centers\u200d released a joint statement to address concerns. \u200bThey emphasized that \u200bthe quantities of drugs detected in this study are too small to produce immediate physical effects on\u200c riders. \u2064Therefore, individuals who rely on public transportation for their travel \u200bneeds can continue to feel \u2062safe.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, the statement also acknowledged the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/confirmed-the-number-of-indefinitely-confined-wisconsin-voters-who-can-vote-without-ids-increased-from-60000-in-2016-to-over-200000-in-2020\/\" title=\"Confirmed: The Number of 'Indefinitely Confined' Wisconsin Voters Who Can Vote without IDs Increased from 60,000 in 2016 to Over 200,000 in 2020\">larger issue<\/a> at hand.
