He claims that\u2064 there is evidence \u2063to support this, including \u2062the unanimous \u2063permission granted by the Coffee\u2063 County Election Board for the forensic inspection.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Rafferty asserts that Powell \u2063was not the driving force behind these actions, suggesting that other lawyers, not mentioned in the case, played a more significant role.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;We submitted a Brady request [for exculpatory evidence] already to the [prosecutors] before this hearing asking for a \u2064host of \u2064different\u2064 kinds of exculpatory material we believe the government has that \u200bwill\u2062 show that, that will show that she was not \u200cthe person that was behind this \u2063as has been alleged in this indictment,&#8221; Rafferty stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Rafferty also challenges the allegation of a written contract, \u200bpointing out that Powell&#8217;s name appears\u2062 on a contract she never\u2062 signed, and it pertains to another state, not Coffee County.<\/p>\n<p>As the case proceeds, Rafferty requested \u2062that Powell be tried separately\u2064 to prevent evidence presented against other co-defendants from prejudicing the jury against her.<\/p>\n<p>It is \u200bclear that \u2064Rafferty\u200c is\u200d determined to prove Powell&#8217;s innocence and disassociate her from the more complex aspects of the case, focusing solely on her alleged involvement in Coffee County.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sidney Powell&#8217;s lawyer, Brian Rafferty, is seeking to free her from the criminal case involving Donald Trump in Georgia.
