Ron DeSantis (R-FL), have preemptively\u2064 declared that they will not enforce \u2063any mandates in \u2062their \u2062states.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Gov. \u2063Ron DeSantis (R-FL) made it \u2062clear that COVID-19-related mask mandates will never \u2064return to Florida.\u2064 At a press conference, \u2063he \u200demphasized the state&#8217;s commitment \u200bto &#8220;freedom&#8221; and stated, &#8220;Mandates,\u2063 lockdowns, fines \u2014 we&#8217;re just not doing that.
