(Photo by\u2064 Luke Sharrett\/Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>OAN\u2019s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.oann.com\/tag\/abril-elfi\" target=\"_blank\">Abril Elfi<\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>12:08 PM \u2013 Thursday, September 7, 2023<\/h3>\n<p>A Kentucky attorney and prosecutor has been indicted for allegedly killing his wife and \u2064tampering \u2064with\u2063 evidence. <\/p>\n<p>On August 30<sup>th<\/sup>, Donald Kyle Deskins was indicted for murdering his wife, Judith\u2064 Dawn Deskins, which transpired in \u200bApril \u200d2021. <\/p>\n<p>According to \u200csources, \u2063Judith died as a consequence of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kentucky-prosecutor-charged-for-murdering-his-wife\/\" title=\"Kentucky prosecutor accused of killing spouse\">blunt force trauma brought<\/a> on by domestic abuse. However, no one had been charged \u2064until now.<\/p>\n<p>Donald is currently a\u2063 city attorney for Elkhorn \u2063City and had \u200bbeen \u200ba Pike county attorney\u2062 previously.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2062 suspect allegedly tampered with evidence that \u2064would have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/jury-selection-under-way-in-trial-of-illegal-immigrant\/\" title=\"Jury selection under way in trial of illegal immigrant\">eventually led police<\/a> to his crimes in \u2064the months following his wife\u2019s passing. <\/p>\n<p>Deskins is accused of\u200c tampering with evidence on April 24<sup>th<\/sup>, 2021, the day Judith died, as \u2062well as on \u2064July 28<sup>th<\/sup>, \u200d2021, when he reportedly \u201cinterfered with\u200d a laptop\u201d that \u200bhe had handed over \u200bto authorities.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cHe destroyed, mutilated, concealed,\u2062 removed or altered physical evidence, namely\u200b his laptop\u200c computer when\u200b he offered it as evidence in the death\u200c investigation of (Dawn Deskins),\u201d investigators said. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Deskins was indicted in Pike \u2064County, Kentucky, in the heart\u2062 of Appalachia,\u2064 but he will not be prosecuted by the county commonwealth\u2019s attorney\u2019s office. <\/p>\n<p>This could be a blatant conflict of interest since\u200b Deskins was previously an assistant prosecutor at that particular\u2062 office.<\/p>\n<p>The commonwealth\u2019s attorney for Johnson County has been appointed as \u2064the \u2063prosecutor and Deskins is \u200dcurrently being held\u200b without bond since his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed! \u2063Receive breaking news blasts directly to\u2063 your inbox for free.
