Some victims were released \u2064to their parents, while the \u2062others were transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. <\/p>\n<p>As of late Wednesday, four of the 49 students who \u2063were hospitalized remained \u2062in treatment for moderate injuries, Bear Creek CEO Jim Smith told The New York Post.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/anti-lockdown-billboard-in-calif-stirs-controversy-as-state-moves-closer-to-reopening-schools\/\" title=\"Anti-lockdown billboard in Calif. stirs controversy as state moves closer to reopening schools\">school bus driver<\/a>, 53-year-old Suzanne Ent, and the tow truck driver, 28-year-old Edward Steinmann, were hospitalized following the accident with \u201cmoderate injuries\u201d, according to state police Captain Patrick \u2062Dougherty.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cAt this time it is believed the operator of the tow truck\u2064 suffered\u2062 a medical issue before the crash\u201d that caused him to cross into oncoming traffic at the time of the accident, Dougherty explained at a press conference on Wednesday. \u201cAlthough this is\u200d an unfortunate event, we are\u200b grateful that there\u2062 were \u2062no serious injuries. We wish everyone a speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Bear \u2063Creek CEO wrote a heartfelt message that he shared in\u2064 a community bulletin <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cToday was a day that none of \u2062us ever wanted to experience, nor do we ever want to experience it again. But there are lessons to be learned, and we must be prepared \u2063in the unfortunate event of a future incident,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to \u200bthe results of the ongoing investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Route 115 held a road closure until around noon on Wednesday while police continued their investigation. Images taken near the site of the \u2062accident \u200bshow both the large school bus and the two truck with serious front-end damage.<\/p>\n<p>According to\u2064 Doherty, plenty of good Samaritans offered assistance at the scene of the collision and were appreciated for it. He\u200b also expressed \u2063gratitude to the response agencies\u2062 for their\u2062 efforts on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>The captain \u200dstated that the crash\u2064 is still under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Stay informed!
