Nikki Haley, with Ms.\u2063 Haley besting the president 49-43 \u200dpercent.<\/p>\n<p>The survey\u2064 also found that 67 percent \u2063of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents would like\u2062 to see the party nominate someone other\u2063 than President Biden. But when those voters were presented with potential alternatives, \u2063no\u2064 clear frontrunner emerged, with 82 percent responding \u201cjust someone besides \u2064Joe Biden.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<blockquote>\n<h2><strong>Health Concerns<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>President Biden\u2019s age and overall health\u2062 were a point of concern for voters even before the\u2062 2020 election.\u2062 But according to the poll,\u2062 those worries have only increased during his term\u2062 in office.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote><\/div>\n<p>In November 2019, 51 percent of voters said they did not believe \u2062the former vice president had the stamina and sharpness to be president.\u2063 Now, that number \u2064has spiked to\u200c 74 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, \u200b73 percent\u2063 of voters\u2014including 56 percent of Democrats\u2014now say they\u200b are \u201cseriously concerned\u201d that the 80-year-old \u200cpresident\u2019s age might affect\u2063 his level of physical and mental competence, and 76 percent are \u200bworried it could affect his ability to serve another full term in office.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Earlier this week, President Biden raised eyebrows when he abruptly left a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/epochtv\/biden-awards-medal-of-honor-to-vietnam-veteran-5486428\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Medal \u2063of Honor ceremony<\/a> for a Vietnam War veteran before it was over. The \u2063White \u2064House later claimed that his early exit was pre-planned.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>The\u200d president\u2019s\u2063 term\u2062 has also been marked by repeated falls, with the most <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nearly-half-of-voters-prefer-any-republican-to-biden-poll\/\" title=\"Poll: Almost 50% of Voters Favor Republicans over Biden\">recent\u200d incident\u200c occurring<\/a> on June 1 at the Air Force Academy\u2019s commencement ceremony. That tumble was chalked up to an unseen sandbag.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Popularity Problem<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Health concerns aside, President Biden faces another \u200cchallenge to his reelection bid\u2014his unpopularity.<\/p>\n<p>Only 39 percent \u200dof all respondents said they\u200d approved of his job performance so far, while 61 percent \u2062said they disapproved.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200clatter number nearly matches the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/poll-trump-is-crushing-biden-among-independents\/\" title=\"POLL: Trump Is Crushing Biden Among Independents\">highest disapproval rating<\/a> \u2062of his presidency in\u2063 July 2022 \u200dat 62 percent.<\/p>\n<div class=\"my-5\">\n<p>Further, only 28 percent of respondents\u200d said President Biden inspired\u200b confidence, and just 33 percent said they were \u200dproud to have\u2064 him as president.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A recent CNN poll (pdf) reveals that 46% of registered voters favor any Republican nominee over President Joe Biden for the 2024 election.
