This \u200btime, the\u200b radicals went all out from \u2062the start, telling parents \u200dthey had no right to keep their kids from cutting off their genitals and forcing \u2063girls\u200d to change \u2062their clothes in the same\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/historic-significance-of-georgia-senate-contests\/\" title=\"Historic Significance of Georgia Senate Contests\">locker rooms<\/a> as boys.<\/p>\n<p>Bud Light\u200d and Target showed us that this time, they went\u2063 too far, too fast. The tide has turned, \u200band \u2064it is coming in\u2064 with a fury.<\/p>\n<p>But the\u200b left isn\u2019t used to being challenged.<\/p>\n<p>Mike\u200b Rowe, former host of \u201cDirty Jobs,\u201d \u200dgot \u2062splattered with some leftist vitriol\u200c for writing a single post in favor of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fans-love-4-words-written-megyn-kellys-shirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Megyn Kelly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, he isn\u2019t backing down, \u2063either.<\/p>\n<p>It started a\u2063 few months ago when Kelly became very \u2063vocal on\u2063 her show about her opposition\u200b to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-parents-protesting-crt-trans-ideology-arrested-after-loudoun-county-school-board-shuts-down-meeting\/\" title=\"WATCH: Parents Protesting CRT, Trans Ideology Arrested After Loudoun County School Board Shuts Down Meeting\">trans ideology<\/a>, especially when it comes \u200cto men competing in women\u2019s \u2064sports. Predictably, she received hatred and backlash from the left.<\/p>\n<p>Knowing that she faced the possible\u200d cancellation \u2063of her\u2063 show by Apple, Kelly\u200c put out an ultimatum daring the tech \u2064giant to deplatform her and\u2063 promising to \u201crain hell\u2062 down\u201d on \u200dthe company if it did.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor\u200d a\u200c woman speaking up for girls \u2064and \u200bfor her\u200b fellow women and\u2063 our rights to be safe and to have our spaces? I dare you. I will unleash hell on that company,\u201d she\u200c said.\u200d \u201cI will \u2063actually lead\u200c protests\u2062 in the street. I will go to the outside of Apple headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey cannot do it, they can\u2019t \u2062\u2014\u200b they\u2063 will \u200blive to regret it. I will make\u2062 them a\u200c Bud Light.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On Aug. 26, Rowe shared the video on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it comes to that,\u2064 I\u2019d march with\u200d her,\u201d\u2063 he wrote. \u201cWould you?\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\">\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, that was enough to get the crazies going.<\/p>\n<p>The next day, Rowe posted a \u201clove letter\u201d he received from \u200da woman named Jessica Pranger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNope, not for one second would I stand next to \u2064this farce of a woman,\u201d \u2064she wrote. \u201cMike, your desperate grabs at popularity are embarrassing. Stay\u2062 in your lane, please. I thank you in advance for not inserting\u2062 your \u200bbullcrap pandering for women in\u2064 any other scenario that includes women.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t \u2064belong and \u200dyou most certainly are\u2062 not choosing\u2062 the right woman to be in \u200bcomplete \u2064support of.\u2063 She is\u200d a brainwashed, phobic,\u2063 fear \u2063driven, fear mongering \u2064blow hard\u2026 much like \u200bthe faction you love\u200b pandering to so much. You and \u2062your ilk are \u2063so off base\u2064 that I am actually embarrassed for \u200dyou.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rowe\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheRealMikeRowe\/posts\/844578960359710\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">response<\/a> \u2064was \u200celoquent and unapologetic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks for your response, and\u2064 thanks\u2062 for following\u200d this \u200cpage,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, you\u2019re not\u200d the only one to\u200d dislike Megyn Kelly, and you are certainly not the only\u2062 one to admonish me for wandering \u2063\u2018outside \u200bmy lane,&#8217;\u201d\u200c Rowe \u2062said. \u201cThe question is, do you care at all about the underlying issues? If not, that\u2019s okay,\u2062 but if you\u2019re going to share \u200byour feelings with 6 million people, why\u2063 not take a moment to include \u200bsome actual thoughts?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpecifically, some thoughts on the right to speak freely, and the right for women to compete fairly? Those\u200b are the\u2062 issues in question, not your feelings about Megyn or\u200c me. Unless of course, your\u200c feelings are\u200d the only thing you have to \u200bshare?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs for your personal comments about Megyn Kelly,\u201d he continued, \u201cI don\u2019t share your view that \u200bshe is a \u2018farce\u2019 of woman, but even if \u200bI did, \u2064I\u2019d support her right to speak freely, and her daughter\u2019s right to use a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mike-rowe-hits-back-after-being-told-stay-in-your-lane-when-it-comes-to-womens-rights\/\" title=\"Mike Rowe responds to criticism of his involvement in women's rights by asserting his right to speak out on the issue.\">locker room free<\/a> of biological men. Do you? Who knows? You\u2063 haven\u2019t \u200csaid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll \u200byou\u2019ve argued here, \u200cis that I\u2019m pandering to women.\u2062 You seem to \u2062believe\u2064 that\u2064 because I\u2019m not\u200c a woman, I have no right to hold an opinion on anything related\u200b to women. Because Alec Baldwin\u200b is a funny and talented actor whose work I enjoy immensely. His\u200d opinions, however, have made it difficult for me to enjoy his work. Not impossible, just difficult.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy then, \u2062would a\u2062 celebrity, or a company for that \u200cmatter, knowingly put their\u2062 fans \u2062and\u2062 customers in such a position? Why did Bud \u200dLight make it so hard for so\u200c many of their customers to\u200c support them? And poor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/legendary-musician-tells-huge-crowd-truth-god-made-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carlos Santana<\/a> \u2026 he doesn\u2019t know what to do. A few weeks ago, he declared during a concert, \u2018a man is a man, and a woman \u200dis woman.\u2019 The outrage was \u2062swift, and \u200dCarlos issued a lengthy apology on Facebook. But two days\u2063 ago, he removed his apology, \u2062and \u2063replaced it with a poem!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, did Carlos Santana wander outside his lane? Did\u2062 Alice \u200cCooper?\u2063 Alec \u2063Baldwin? Bud Lite? Target?\u201d Rowe asked. \u201cOr, did they all \u200btake a highly principled \u200cposition on a topic that mattered\u200d deeply to them,\u2063 and exercise \u200ctheir first amendment rights?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He went on to\u2062 lament the state\u200c of discourse \u200btoday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m worried that people\u2064 have become increasingly unable to separate the message\u200b from the messenger,\u201d \u2063Rowe\u200b said. \u201cI\u2019m worried that we\u2019ve entered into a\u2062 time when \u200cthe \u200cexperts disagree \u2062on every\u200b serious topic, where journalism has\u200b been replaced almost entirely by editorial partisanship, and everyone on both sides of every issue believes the\u2064 \u2018science has been settled\u2019\u2062 in whatever\u200b way \u2062confirms their own\u200d beliefs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClimate change, Covid, mask and vaccine \u200bmandates, immigration, homelessness, transgender rights, criminal justice, reparations\u2026the certainty is \u2064everywhere.\u200c Mostly\u2064 though, I\u2019m worried that people \u2013 and corporations \u2013 \u200dare determined to silence\u2064 the \u2063opposition, rather than make any attempt \u200bto persuade, or even put forth a rational argument.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He then reminded Pranger that 12 years ago, the Textile Service and Rental Association was upset\u2063 with him\u200c because he had \u201cwandered outside of my lane\u201d and participated in \u200ca campaign \u2064that promoted \u200ddisposable shop towels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I refused to apologize, or distance \u2062myself from the people who hired me, the TRSA published a list\u200c of everyone I\u2063 did business with \u2014 Discovery, Ford, Wrangler, Caterpillar, Viva,\u200d and Kimberly Clarke \u2014 and \u200cthen called for a general boycott of \u2064all things related to Mike Rowe,\u201d he said. \u201cIn short, they tried\u2062 to silence me, \u2064and then they tried to destroy me.\u2064 It scared the hell out\u200d of me, and I fought back\u200c \u2014 on this very page \u2014 and they eventually went away.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u200d wonder,\u200b though, what would happen\u200b today? And \u2062to be\u2064 clear, I\u2019d\u200b prefer \u2062not to find out.\u2064 But not if it means forgoing my right to \u200dspeak freely,\u200c or standing by, while women\u2019s fundamental rights are being cast \u200caside, or\u200d being\u2062 told to shut up or else.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo sum up, Jessica, this \u2062page is\u200b \u2018my lane,\u2019 and you are a \u200cguest\u200b on it. \u2063To be sure, you\u2019ve said some rude and unpersuasive things, but I would never ban you \u200cor block you for those reasons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the\u2062 other hand, it\u2019s worth remembering that \u2064this page is \u2062not really my \u2064property. I\u2019ve answered it as best I can.\u2062 You should, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rowe couldn\u2019t\u200b have put it better.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have to have been a slave to opine on\u2062 the \u200cfact that slavery is wrong?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStay in your lane\u201d is a line the left uses to try to silence conservatives.
