But, the agency added, these islands should continue monitoring for updates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSwells generated by Lee are expected to reach portions of the Lesser Antilles on Friday, and the British and U.S. \u2062Virgin Islands, \u2062Puerto Rico, \u2062Hispaniola, \u200bthe Bahamas, and Bermuda \u200cthis weekend. Another possibility is that the jet stream steers it away from the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>The Atlantic hurricane season, which stretches from June 1 to November\u2064 30, is currently at\u2063 its peak.
