This relocation will be done at the expense of\u200c the\u2062 defendants and in coordination with the United States Army Corps of Engineers.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Defendants \u2064shall, by September 15, 2023, reposition, at Defendants\u2019 expense, and in coordination with the United States Army\u200c Corps of Engineers, all \u200bbuoys, anchors, and other related\u200b materials \u200ccomposing the&#8230; floating barrier placed\u200d by\u200c Texas in the Rio Grande in the vicinity of Eagle Pass, Texas to the bank of the Rio Grande on the Texas \u2062side of the river,&#8221;\u200b he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Upon hearing the news,\u200b Governor Greg Abbott (R-TX) wasted no time in announcing his intention to appeal the decision. He expressed his willingness to take the legal battle all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cTexas will appeal. Today\u2019s court decision merely\u2062 prolongs President Biden\u2019s\u200b willful refusal to acknowledge \u2064that Texas is rightfully \u2062stepping up \u2064to do the job that\u2063 he should\u2063 have been doing\u2063 all \u200balong,&#8221; Abbott&#8217;s office said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This ruling \u200cis incorrect and will \u2062be overturned on appeal. We \u200cwill continue to\u2064 utilize every strategy to secure the border, including\u200b deploying Texas National Guard soldiers and Department of Public Safety troopers and installing strategic barriers. Our battle to defend Texas\u2019\u2063 sovereign authority to protect lives from the\u200c chaos caused by President Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/why-joe-bidens-foreign-policy-reset-will-be-a-disaster\/\" title=\"Why Joe Biden\u2019s Foreign Policy \u2018Reset\u2019 Will Be A Disaster\">open border policies<\/a> has only begun. Texas State Sen.\u200b Roland Gutierrez \u2064(D), who is running against Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in 2024, applauded the court&#8217;s decision to demand the dismantlement of the barrier. He also sought to directly connect the\u200b policy to his Senate opponent.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The cruel\u2062 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/texas-ordered-to-remove-rio-grande-barrier-as-trial-continues\/\" title=\"Texas told to take down Rio Grande barrier during ongoing trial.\">inhumane border policies endorsed<\/a> by Ted Cruz have killed\u2062 children and separated families,&#8221; Gutierrez said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, the death buoys supported by Cruz were rejected by \u2063a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/top-l-a-police-union-official-tells-officers-to-go-somewhere-theyre-appreciated\/\" title=\"L.A. The Department \u2062of Justice&#8217;s ruling against Operation Lone Star is a necessary step towards\u2062 justice, shedding light on inhumane and cruel practices that have \u200cno place in our society,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Gutierrez emphasized the urgency of the situation, \u2063stating \u2063that the border crisis must be addressed immediately.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Drowning women and children at the border isn\u2019t a policy,&#8221; he added. &#8220;It is cruelty and insanity.
