It&#8217;s not just the &#8220;conspiracy theorists&#8221; who believe this; anyone\u2064 who has been paying attention over the past few\u2063 decades \u2063can see it.\u2062 From COVID to economic \u2062recessions \u2064to wars, trust in the government has dwindled. So, how\u200c does the government adapt to this lack of trust? They get creative with their lies.<\/p>\n<p>Take,\u200b for example, the Department\u2062 of Justice (DOJ). They have come up with inventive ways to \u200cdeceive the public that are difficult to detect \u2063on the surface. One such \u200cexample went unnoticed by the mainstream press. Kevin Benjamin Weier, a California\u200d man, set fire to a federal courthouse in Portland during\u2063 the canonization of \u200dSaint \u2064George Floyd. Weier pleaded guilty to this act, but the DOJ conveniently left out the details of his actual sentence in their \u200cpress \u2062release.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, we\u2062 have cases like Enrique\u200d Tarrio, a former GOP congressional candidate, who was\u2062 sentenced\u200c to 22 years in prison for his alleged involvement in the January 6th events. Despite not being near any federal buildings on that day, Tarrio received the longest sentence of any January 6th defendant. The media seems unfazed by this injustice.<\/p>\n<h3>Unequal Justice<\/h3>\n<p>What&#8217;s truly alarming\u200c is the stark contrast in sentencing\u2063 between those involved in the January \u200d6th events and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kamala-harris-condemns-d-c-demonstrators-despite-past-encouragement-of-violent-blm-mobs\/\" title=\"Kamala Harris condemns D.C. demonstrators despite past encouragement of violent BLM mobs\">left-wing activists<\/a> who have committed acts of violence. Arsonists,\u200d rapists,\u2063 and even terrorists have\u200c received lighter\u200b sentences than some nonviolent January \u20636th defendants. This unequal treatment \u2064is\u200b evident in cases \u2063like Joseph Biggs, who received 17 \u200cyears in prison for pulling\u2062 down a fence at \u200cthe Capitol, while BLM rioters\u2063 who set fire to buildings faced minimal consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the FBI&#8217;s \u200btactics in targeting \u200dTrump supporters are concerning. Innocent \u2063individuals\u2062 are \u200cbeing ambushed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-checkers-try-to-spin-irs-hiring-agents-willing-to-use-deadly-force\/\" title=\"Fact Checkers Try to Spin IRS Hiring Agents Willing to Use Deadly Force\">heavily armed agents<\/a>, while left-wing terrorists seem to escape scrutiny. The recent raid on Nathan\u2062 Hughes, who \u200bwore an Infowars \u2062shirt \u2062and allegedly\u200b pushed against the police line, exemplifies this unequal treatment.<\/p>\n<p>This pattern of selective enforcement and harsh punishment for political dissidents is\u2062 a dangerous escalation under the Biden administration. The raid on Craig Robertson,\u2063 the elderly Trump supporter in Utah, and the \u200cFBI&#8217;s refusal to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/guy-who-wasnt-even-at-the-capitol-on-january-6th-gets-22-years-in-prison-anyway\/\" title=\"Man not present at Capitol on January 6th receives 22-year prison sentence.\">release body camera\u200c footage<\/a> further highlight \u200cthe lack of oversight and accountability.<\/p>\n<h3>A Society Without Rule of Law?<\/h3>\n<p>If this \u200ctrend continues, we may find ourselves in a society where the government can imprison and even kill its political enemies without consequences, while giving a pass to terrorists on their side. Unless a \u200dreal opposition forms and leaders who are willing\u2063 to address this issue \u2062emerge, our future looks bleak. We must not allow our society to be governed by raw \u200cpower and the will of the ruling class.
