min-height: 50px;  text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-1'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>On August 29<sup>th<\/sup>, Kabeh Cummings was arrested by police in\u200b New York and extradited to Sacramento last Friday, as he is\u200b a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/suspect-arrested-after-dna-links-him-to-sexual-assault-cold-cases\/\" title=\"Suspect nabbed as DNA connects him to unsolved sexual assault cases.\">suspected serial rapist accused<\/a> of committing multiple sexual assaults between the years 2010 to 2013.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" data-placeholder-image=\"https:\/\/c3.oann.com\/wp-content\/plugins\/complianz-gdpr\/assets\/images\/placeholders\/twitter-minimal.jpg\" class=\"cmplz-placeholder-element twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Serial\u200b Sexual\u200b Predator Arrested<\/p>\n<p>The Sacramento Police Department in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sacsheriff?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@sacsheriff<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SacCountyDA?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@SacCountyDA<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FBI?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@FBI<\/a>, announce the arrest of 35 -year-old \u2062Kabeh Cummings in connection to sexual assaults that\u200d occurred within the Sacramento area, with the earliest reported\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/YkDc2l4V8t\">pic.twitter.com\/YkDc2l4V8t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Sacramento Police Department (@SacPolice) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SacPolice\/status\/1697203403640967225?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 31, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script type=\"text\/plain\" data-service=\"twitter\" data-category=\"marketing\" async data-cmplz-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script> <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>During a press conference, Sacramento Police Chief Katherine Lester\u200c stated \u2064that a victim was \u2063walking home in March 2010 when she was \u200bgrabbed from behind and strangled. <\/p>\n<p>The suspect then\u00a0allegedly took the unconscious female victim behind a building and sexually assaulted her before escaping from the area. After gaining consciousness, the victim reported the incident to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened a month after another related assault had \u2064occurred. <\/p>\n<p>The\u2063 chief stated that DNA samples from the victims were collected and placed into the Combined \u2064DNA Index System (CODIS). There were no hits or matches in the system at the time, \u200dand the cases went cold.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Sheriff \u200bLeeAnneDra Marchese discussed a third instance during the conference\u2063 that occurred in September of 2013.<\/p>\n<p>An individual had \u2063grabbed a victim from behind, brandished a stun gun at the victim, and threatened her life before forcing her to\u2064 walk\u200b into\u2062 a dark\u2064 alley and sexually assaulting her before leaving.<\/p>\n<p>The victim\u200d was able to receive assistance from a nearby business afterwards, and her DNA \u200bwas\u200d submitted to CODIS,\u200c similar \u200bto the other two incidents. However, that case\u200b became cold as well when no leads showed up in the police\u2019s ID system. <\/p>\n<p>Lester said\u200c that the cases were reviewed further and\u2064 looked closer \u2064into \u200din 2018 by Sacramento\u2064 Police\u200c Department \u200dcold case detectives, the sexual assault and child abuse section, and the District Attorney\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p>Later,\u200b a profile was\u2064 developed \u200busing the biological evidence from the first two cases. The sheriff\u2019s office reportedly had a comprehensive DNA profile constructed using the biological evidence from the \u2063three cases and they \u2064were all found to \u200dbe a match. <\/p>\n<p>With the new profile created, authorities were able to identify Cummings as the\u200b suspect of all three cases. <\/p>\n<p>The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned on \u200bcharges of kidnapping and carrying away,\u2063 kidnapping to commit rape, anal or genital penetration \u2063by foreign object\u2063 by force, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/harvey-weinstein-will-be-extradited-to-california-to-stand-trial-on-sex-assault-charges\/\" title=\"Harvey Weinstein Will Be Extradited To California To Stand Trial On Sex Assault Charges\">forcible oral copulation<\/a>, forcible\u200c rape, \u2063and sodomy of\u2063 an unconscious victim.<\/p>\n<p>Stay\u200b informed!
