Speculation is rife\u200c that many \u200cof the indicted \u200bindividuals will strike deals with Fulton\u200c County \u2062District Attorney Fani Willis.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cHistory \u2064has \u200bshown the 18 co-defendants that Donald\u2064 doesn\u2019t care about anyone but himself,\u201d former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI suspect it will be every defendant\u2062 for himself,\u201d Cohen \u2063added.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>During court proceedings, Meadows indirectly implicated\u2064 Trump in a <a title=\"Key points from the Devon Archer transcript\" href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nine-takeaways-from-the-devon-archer-transcript\/\">crucial phone call<\/a> with Georgia Secretary of State\u200c Brad Raffensperger on January 2, 2021. Although Meadows \u200darranged the call, his lawyer emphasized that Meadows had a limited speaking\u200d role.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of statements by Mr. Trump. Mr. Meadows\u2019 speaking\u2064 roles were quite limited,\u201d said Michael Francisco, \u200bMeadow\u2019s lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2062 didn\u2019t make a request that you \u200bchange the vote totals \u2014 Mr. \u200bMeadows, himself?\u201d\u200b Francisco asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCorrect,\u201d Raffensperger \u2064testified.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>However, relying on\u2064 the phone call \u2062as evidence in \u2063the trial could prove challenging. According to a transcript from The Washington Post, \u200dTrump&#8217;s actual words were: \u201cI \u200djust want to find\u200b 11,780 votes, which is one \u200dmore than we have because we won \u2062the state.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If Meadows decides\u2063 to turn on Trump, he won&#8217;t be the only defendant to\u2064 do so. Attorney Scott Weinberg believes that strategically, being tried alongside Trump \u2064would divert attention away from \u200bthe\u200d lesser players.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cStrategically speaking, if you are one of \u2064the lesser important players, you would definitely want to be\u200d in \u200dthe same trial \u200cwith Donald Trump. All of\u200d the focus is\u2063 going to be\u200d on him,\u201d \u2064Weinberg explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey don\u2019t want the little \u2063guys, they want Trump.
