Are We Missing Something?\">polling data<\/a> available. <\/p>\n<p>A recent Wall Street Journal poll revealed\u200b that Trump is the top\u200d choice of 59% \u2063of GOP\u2062 primary voters. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis comes in at a\u2063 distant \u2064second place with 13%, a 46% difference. Every GOP candidate combined only \u200bmakes up 39% which\u2064 still ultimately trails Trump \u2062by 20%. <\/p>\n<p>This massive discrepancy even led the Wall \u200bStreet Journal to declare that \u201cTrump,\u2062 for\u200c now, has no\u2063 formidable challenger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump is leading the GOP field by nearly 40%, \u200baccording to\u2063 RealClearPolitics polling average. Trump is \u200bup by\u200d 36% \u200bin a\u2062 new YouGov\/Economist poll. Trump \u2062is up 44% in a new \u200bMorning Consult poll. Trump is up 38% in a new Emerson\u2062 College poll. Trump is\u200d up\u200d 45% in a new \u2063Messenger poll. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cWe\u2062 will not\u2063 play prevent defense,\u201d \u2064Trump \u2063told a New \u200dHampshire crowd in early August. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump\u2063 has seen considerable success in general\u200b election \u2062polling against President Joe Biden as \u2062well. YouGov\/Economist shows Trump leading Biden 44% to 43%. Emerson College has Trump\u200d up 46% to 44%. The\u200d Wall Street Journal showed Trump and Biden tied at 46%.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIt is kind<strong> <\/strong>of shocking in a \u2062way\u2062 that, despite all of the baggage that Donald Trump carries, he\u2019s tied \u200dwith Joe Biden right now,\u201d ABC \u2062anchor George Stephanopoulos said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That baggage \u2013 four indictments and numerous\u2064 upcoming trials \u2013 \u200cis not sticking\u2064 with voters right now. \u200bIn fact, more than 60% of GOP primary\u200b voters\u200d believe the Trump indictments are politically motivated, according to the Wall Street Journal poll. <\/p>\n<p>Trump \u2063faces a packed spring\u200b when it comes to legal issues. The\u2064 45<sup>th<\/sup> \u200cpresident \u200dis scheduled to appear in\u2062 two major trials just 77 days apart next year. <\/p>\n<p>The first is his federal\u200d case in Washington, DC \u200con March 4, 2024 \u200cand the second is\u200d set for May 20, 2024\u2063 in Florida \u200bregarding his\u200b alleged mishandling of classified materials. <\/p>\n<p>Despite this, Trump is neck\u2064 and neck with \u200bBiden across all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tyler-perry-calls-on-doj-to-investigate-georgia-likens-voter-integrity-law-to-jim-crow\/\" title=\"Tyler Perry Calls On DOJ To Investigate Georgia, Likens Voter Integrity Law To \u2018Jim Crow\u2019\">polling sites<\/a>,\u2064 according to RealClearPolitics polling average. For context, RealClearPolitics polling \u200caverage showed\u2063 Trump trailing \u200dBiden by more\u200b than seven percent heading into the 2020\u2062 election.
