This comes after multiple reports by the Washington Examiner exposed the nonprofit group&#8217;s ties to Palestinian terrorism.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;We are pleased to see financial institutions\u200d take appropriate action against\u200c those who fund\u200c terror and \u2063will continue to contact and inform other financial institutions that may not realize they are assisting terror\u200b funding when they do business with Alliance for Global Justice,&#8221; said \u2063President Marc Greendorfer of \u2063Zachor Legal\u200c Institute.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A\u200d coalition of 11 pro-Israel groups had called on Stripe to sever ties with \u2063the Alliance for Global \u2063Justice, an Arizona organization that \u200bhas faced scrutiny\u2064 for its \u200bconnections to the \u2062Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine terror group. Stripe&#8217;s decision to \u2064cut ties with the \u200ccharity comes after software company Salsa Labs dropped\u200b them earlier this\u200b year. Interestingly, the Alliance&#8217;s fundraising operation has now shifted to PayPal, while \u2062Stripe quietly made their\u200c exit.<\/p>\n<h3>Continued Efforts to Combat Terrorism Funding<\/h3>\n<p>The Zachor Legal Institute, \u200ca think\u200d tank \u2063fighting antisemitism, has accused the Alliance for Global \u200dJustice of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/actblue-facilitating-donations-to-terror-tied-charity-legal-group-says\/\" title=\"ActBlue Facilitating Donations to Terror-Tied Charity, Legal Group Says\">providing material support<\/a> to \u2064terrorism in violation of federal law. They have been actively reaching out to financial institutions to raise \u2062awareness about the charity&#8217;s ties to terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Examiner&#8217;s articles have shed light on how the Alliance\u200c fundraised for Collectif Palestine Vaincra, a French member of the\u2064 Israeli-designated terror coalition \u2062Samidoun. Samidoun has shared staff members with the Popular Front, which has been responsible for \u2062notorious plane hijackings and bombings. Zachor has\u2062 also highlighted the Alliance&#8217;s involvement in campaigns\u200c that support and\u200c glorify \u2062convicted terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>Stripe had initially stepped\u200d in to provide the Alliance with software\u2063 services \u2064after Salsa Labs stopped handling credit \u200bcard transactions for them. However,\u2063 pro-Israel groups celebrated when Stripe\u2063 ended\u200d their partnership, as it meant the Alliance could no longer fundraise electronically.<\/p>\n<h3>PayPal\u200d Steps In, Discover Steps Out<\/h3>\n<p>PayPal has now taken over as the payment processor \u2063for\u2064 the Alliance,\u200c despite having previously cut off services for Samidoun. In 2021, Samidoun was \u200bdesignated \u2062as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/major-payment-processor-works-with-left-wing-charity-tied-to-palestinian-terrorism\/\" title=\"Payment processor partners with Palestinian terrorism-linked left-wing charity.\">terror \u2064group<\/a>\u2064 by the Israeli government, and \u2062PayPal closed Collectif\u2064 Palestine Vaincra&#8217;s\u2062 account\u2064 in June 2020. Discover also stopped \u200dprocessing donations for the Alliance in\u200d 2021.<\/p>\n<p>PayPal&#8217;s acceptable use policy \u2063explicitly prohibits the promotion of hate, violence, and any \u2063form of intolerance or financial exploitation of a \u200ccrime. However, the Alliance&#8217;s ties to terrorism seem to have gone\u2064 unnoticed by PayPal.<\/p>\n<h3>Continued Scrutiny and\u200d Calls for Transparency<\/h3>\n<p>The Alliance for Global Justice has faced criticism for its fiscal sponsorship of various \u2063organizations, including \u200dthe Honduras Solidarity Network, \u2063Popular Resistance, Black \u2064Lives Matter-Oklahoma City, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/major-payment-software-no-longer-handling-donations-for-palestinian-terror-linked-ngo\/\" title=\"Payment software stops processing donations for Palestinian terror-linked NGO.\">left-leaning legal groups<\/a>. Pro-Israel \u200bwatchdog group NGO Monitor has commended financial companies for distancing themselves from NGOs with alleged ties to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kushner-nominated-for-nobel-peace-prize\/\" title=\"Kushner Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize\">terror groups<\/a> and those accused of \u200dhateful\u2064 activities, \u2062and\u2064 they\u2063 urge PayPal\u200b to do the same.<\/p>\n<p>Stripe, which \u200dprocessed\u200b $817 billion in transactions last year, has strict terms and conditions that prohibit\u200b working with groups that engage in unlawful violence\u2064 or discrimination based on various characteristics. \u2064The company has disclosed its partnerships with Wells\u200d Fargo, PNC Bank, and \u2063Cross River \u2063Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans in Congress, including Representatives Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Mike Lawler, have previously \u200dcriticized Stripe \u2063for processing\u200c donations for the \u2062Alliance. McMorris \u200cRodgers \u200bcalled for transparency from Stripe \u2063regarding their decision to work with a \u200bgroup with \u2063suspected \u2063ties\u200c to\u2062 Palestinian terror organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Both the Alliance for\u2063 Global\u2064 Justice\u200c and PayPal declined to comment on the matter.
