That indictment was handed down last week by the same Fulton\u2062 County Grand\u200b Jury that indicted former President Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants on RICO charges.<\/p>\n<p>The charges \u200cstem\u200c from \u200dalleged radical actions taken by anti-police actors connected with \u2063the \u201cStop Cop\u200d City\u201d movement that occurred between 2020 and 2022, according to Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr. As The Daily\u200b Wire previously reported, far-Left environmental protesters coalesced in response\u2063 to the 2021 announcement of the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center \u2014 a first responder and\u200d police training facility that received millions in taxpayer funding and is being built on nearly 400 \u200dacres of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/5-left-wing-protesters-targeting-planned-georgia-police-center-charged-with-domestic-terrorism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Weelaunee Forest<\/a>. \u200bSince then, individuals connected to the \u201cStop Cop City\u201d movement have been\u200d accused of participating in riots, vandalizing cop cars, and committing unruly actions as part of their opposition to the training facility.<\/p>\n<p>According to Carr, these\u200b individuals have been conspiring to commit violence in the pursuit of anarchy since\u2063 the summer of 2020, following \u200dthe death of \u200cGeorge Floyd. Yet, he said these alleged \u2063\u201canti-government anarchists in \u2062Atlanta recognized an opportunity to rally against law\u2063 enforcement\u201d and\u200d changed course following the 2021 announcement of\u200b the police training facility.
