Ethan Nordean, the leader of a\u200b Seattle chapter, was given an 18-year sentence, and Dominic Pezzola was sentenced to 10 years.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The latest sentence \u2063came down on \u2064Tuesday for Proud Boy \u2062Chairman Enrique Tarrio.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Federal prosecutors used terrorist enhancements to extend the convicts\u2019 sentences over a riot where the only fatal victims were pro-Trump demonstrators. The riots for social justice that \u200cbecame routine throughout 2020 cost more than <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/02\/26\/estimates-george-floyd-riots-to-cost-66-times-more-than-capitol-damage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">66 times<\/a> the inflated estimates of \u2063the Capitol carnage. That\u2019s just accounting for the two-week aftermath of the riots over George Floyd\u2019s death alone.<\/p>\n<p>Residents in Kenosha, Wisconsin, were <a href=\"https:\/\/spectrumnews1.com\/wi\/milwaukee\/news\/2022\/08\/23\/business-reflects-on-2-year-anniversary-of-kenosha-unrest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">still recovering<\/a> last year from the devastation of the 2020\u2063 riots stemming from a police shooting\u200b of an armed 29-year-old black man.<\/p>\n<p>Far-left demonstrators went largely unpunished for the carnage that wrecked mainstreets across the nation throughout the presidential\u200d election year while Democrats and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ron-johnson-is-asking-all-the-hunter-biden-questions-the-media-should-be\/\" title=\"Ron Johnson Is Asking All The Hunter Biden Questions The Media Should Be\">corporate press downplayed<\/a> the damage.<\/p>\n<p>Former Seattle \u2063Mayor Jenny Durkan, who \u200denabled the complete takeover of a city neighborhood to become known as Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone \u2064(CHAZ), <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/22\/as-seattle-settles-major-lawsuit-media-still-insist-george-floyd-riots-were-mostly-peaceful\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">labeled<\/a> the turbulent \u201csummer of love.\u201d CNN made a \u200bmockery of the network when the channel covered the Kenosha riots as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2020\/08\/27\/cnn-chyron-on-kenosha-fiery-but-mostly-peaceful-protests-after-police-shooting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mostly peaceful<\/a>\u201d while \u2064a car lot burned \u200bin the background. Vice President Kamala Harris even encouraged followers to deliver bail money to those arrested for crimes related to the Minneapolis riots. While prosecutors similarly used \u200bterrorist enhancements to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/j6ers-get-domestic-terrorist-treatment-from-two-tiered-justice-system-after-summer-of-love-terrorists-get-slapped-on-the-wrist\/\" title=\"J6ers face unequal justice as 'Summer of Love' terrorists receive lenient treatment.\">recommend longer\u2063 prison sentences<\/a>, the \u2064requested term was only for 18-24 months for ex-lawyer Colinford Mattis in contrast to the decades sought for\u2064 Jan. 6 defendants.<\/p>\n<p>Given the\u200b contrast between Jan. 6 prisoners and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hypocrisy-trump-team-shows-videos-of-democrat-lawmakers-during-impeachment-trial\/\" title=\"\u2018Hypocrisy:\u2019 Trump Team Shows Videos of Democrat Lawmakers During Impeachment Trial\">left-wing anarchists<\/a>, it should come as no \u200csurprise that \u200cthe \u2064most\u2064 vitriolic of \u200cthe D.C. judges to preside \u2064over Capitol riot defendants is also assigned to former President\u200d Donald Trump\u2019s Jan. 6 case.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. District Court Judge \u2063Tanya Chutkan has \u200boverseen more than three dozen cases of individuals charged\u200d with crimes over the Jan. 6 riot. <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-indictment-judge-tanya-chutkan-capitol-riot-9ba5c18d315697d759521425ea203012\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According<\/a> to the Associated Press, Chutkan often issued sentences that went far beyond prosecutors\u2019 recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther judges typically have handed down sentences that are more lenient than those requested by prosecutors,\u201d the AP \u200dreported. \u201cChutkan,\u200b however, has matched or exceeded prosecutors\u2019\u2062 recommendations in 19 of her 38 sentences.\u200b In four of those cases, prosecutors weren\u2019t seeking \u2063any jail time at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump \u200dis now expected to face trial during the presidential contest next year presided by a judge in a district where the jury pool voted for President Joe Biden 92 to 5 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>[READ:[READ:<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/08\/15\/judge-tanya-chutkans-record-should-disqualify-her-from-presiding-over-trumps-j6-trial\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Judge Tanya Chutkan\u2019s Record Should Disqualify Her From Presiding Over\u2063 Trump\u2019s J6 Trial<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/09\/4-in-5-americans-see-two-tiered-justice-system-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">poll<\/a> from last year found that\u2064 4 in 5 Americans believe there is a two-tiered \u2064system \u200dof \u200bjustice.\u200b The 12 months following the survey proved their suspicions \u2064correct.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly sentenced Joseph Biggs, a &#8220;Proud Boy&#8221; leader involved in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, to 17 years in prison.
